Picnic Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered spring rolls, but instead of proper rolls with crispy strips, they served something made with a thick, roti-like dough. It was uncooked from the inside and tasted awful.

I informed the service staff — Hitesh — who was polite and understanding. He said he’d talk to the chef. But when he came back, he said the chef refused to accept the issue, saying “it is like that only” and wouldn’t cancel or replace the order.

I asked to speak to the chef directly, but he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He didn’t even listen to what I was saying and just kept repeating that it won’t be changed. I was simply trying to explain that it was undercooked, but he had no interest in resolving the issue.

Thankfully, Hitesh handled it well, and eventually they cancelled the order. While I appreciate the service staff’s behavior, the chef’s attitude and the poor food quality really ruined...

Been a long time customer at picnic, the food is delicious. Specially the fried rice and the chicken dry fry with bone. The toilets are dirty, they have an AC section and even an AC smoking zone with tables to eat and drink.

But on my last visit found a strand of hair in the chicken crispy. The staff was very casual and didn't care much when we informed them. The cleaner was present and we showed him the hair, he took it to show the manager. The waiter/manager didn't end up coming to apologise. The cleaner returned and didn't even apologize and said they won't charge us for the dish. It was quiet late so we didn't argue, we left the remaining food and cleared the bill and left in disgust.

The place is open late night for alcohol and food and even cigerettes. Open till...

I and my husband planned for dinner date but it was too late then we planned to visit this place service was quick. we ordered chicken lolipop, chicken tandoori& cheese garlic naan. These dishes were amazing but then when we ordered main course, butter chicken and naan it was unexpected, so much of garlic, chillies etc and this dish was cooked by some helper or unprofessional staff we left it and informed the owner but there was no response from the owner he ignored and charged for it, We have decided not to visit this place anymore and won't suggest anyone to visit this place because customer satisfaction is more important shame on owner who didn't even ask or check what was the problem very bad...
