Mel’s Cakes and Sweets made my birthday and wedding so special with the most incredible cakes!

For my birthday, I went with their Ras Malai cake, and honestly, it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. The flavors were so unique—soft, moist layers with that perfect Ras Malai creaminess and just the right amount of sweetness. Everyone at the party kept asking where I got it from, and there wasn’t a single slice left by the end of the night!

For my wedding, we chose their Lotus Biscoff cake, and it was absolutely stunning. The design was elegant and exactly what I wanted—it looked like something straight out of a magazine. But the real magic was in the taste. The biscoff flavor was so rich and indulgent, but not overpowering, and the texture was perfect. Even people who don’t usually eat cake came back for seconds.

Each bite was a heavenly experience; I still remember the taste, and everyone kept asking for a second serving.

My friends organised an impromptu birthday party for me in the evening. Knowing that I can’t eat a regular cake, they went about in search of someone who could bake a sugar free cake at the last minute. Melissa agreed, and baked a cake especially for them in 1.5 hours. The cake itself was super delicious, moist, and a perfect combination of carrots, dates and walnuts, while still being maida free, sugar free and eggless.
