Inexplicably a wonderful place to chill

Right from where I stepped into Miak. I had very good time. I was having a typical day and went in looking for some food. I dropped in and had a conversation with Rushikesh for the order and there it all started. I ordered fish thali and a couple of beers. Then I met Mr. Vinayak and Mr. Saju who started this place with a dream of bringing tasty, homely food to coustmers and i feel that they did a wonderful job in fulfilling that. It's just not the food that I fell for. It's the people around. They are here to make you comfortable and make you feel home. This place is a hidden gem for food lovers in Goa! Johnny fed us with love,warmth and affection! What a wonderful guy he is! Over and above he is a great chef who cooked simply amazing meal for my family. We tried Misal Paav, Maharashtrian Thali,Kaju Fenny and Garlic Cheese paw..My freid opted for Non Veg thali and he too found it lovely! If you want to try soulful delicious homely food in Anjuna,Goa Miak is the place and Johnny is the guy! Maharashtrian food in Goa sounds a lil off. But then try it at Miak and you'll love it. The place is a beautiful little shack style spot just a little away from Anjuna beach. The food: Authentic Maharashtrian food is their speciality. And the food is cooked by the family and not some hired help, so authenticity and taste is guaranteed.
