Monico's Beach Shack — Restaurant in Goa

Visited the Shack with my wife and 9 months old son. The staff boys were rude and lacked basic courtesy. one of them kept speaking to someone on call on his mobile sitting on a chair just behind us and was continuously abusing on the call. After 15 mins when his call was still not finished, i requested the staff boy serving us to ask him to move away from there. Next incident was truly astonishing. One of the staff boy walked up to the beach just ahead of us and pulled his pants down while talking to others. one of the other guys reminded him of our presence. I walked up to the owner to complained about this behaviour. However the icing on the cake was that when the owner confronted the boys about the same, they started behaving aggressively towards the owner and me. By this time I had enough and being with my family chose to leave the place for my good. BEST TO AVOID THE PLACE IF YOU ARE WITH FAMILY....

I recently visited this beachside gem and couldn't have asked for a more relaxing dining experience. The restaurant has a beautiful, tranquil atmosphere, with seating options on both a deck and right on the beach itself, just steps from the shoreline. The waves nearly reach the tables on the sand, adding a serene, natural soundtrack to the meal.

Our waiter, Bhim, was a standout—polite, attentive, and always ready with a genuine smile. His service made us feel warmly welcomed and well taken care of.

We ordered their sizzlers, which came out perfectly cooked and full of flavor, making them the highlight of our meal. I also tried the virgin pina colada, which was refreshing and well-balanced, ideal for the beach setting.

We stayed for the sunset, the place has great seating and candles at the tables. Such a warm vibe and modern and Indian style music. You can get shisha here. There are staff quickly catering for your needs and you can either sit up on their decking area or right on the beach front very close to the sea. All the beach shacks look loverly at night however we decided to stay at this one. Just a short stroll to the left on the beach after beach road. Would love to stay here forever so tranquill. The music is turned down around 10pm, however it was Sunday but we enjoyed the peace and watching the world go bye. Food looked amazing however we had already eaten, but would definately return to try the great...
