A thoroughly disappointing experience. Had gone to celebrate a birthday and things just fell apart from the word go. An entire cocktail was spilt onto my my lap and some on my mother too (happens we are all human after all and gravity stops for no one) and the server was apologetic. The two beers served (People's Lager) had gone off and were sour and flat so had to be replaced by another brand. The food was a mixed affair with some dishes (particularly the Mexican ones) being good though the prawn sizzler ordered by me had seven small shrimp instead so I was very disappointed having had a similar dish at another restaurant for lunch earlier that day where I was served ten large prawns for less than the price of this dish. The restaurant manager was initially reluctant to concede that my complaint was valid and had to be told that having lived in Goa running a restaurant for years I knew what the difference between shrimp and prawn is. The patty of the vegetarian burger ordered by my sister was dry and so was largely uneaten. The sinks for washing hands that were by the washroom had accumulated a pool of water (right by the access door) on which I very nearly slipped and had to draw the attention of a colleague mop up. One of those rare instances where I left no tip as I felt that the whole experience was just very subpar. I wish them good luck but I won't be returning to find out how they are getting on.
Edit: Thank you for your reply which reflects quite poorly on you as you obviously have absolutely no interest in admitting how you failed miserably in delivering a half decent dining experience. What I mention in a review is entirely up to me as long as it is true which it is. You on the other hand have resorted to lying and being passive aggressive which just goes to show how little you value your customers. My 19 month old child cannot even reach the tap of the sink let alone cause the mess that you claim; truly disappointing that you make such a false claim against a toddler. It was your other guests and obviously you don't seem to care much about housekeeping. You are right in saying that different restaurants serve their food in different ways; the key difference in this case is that they serve it better than you and they also know the difference between shrimps (which is what you served me) and prawns (which is what you claim to serve on the menu). Something that I have brought to your attention and you obviously do not like. Rather than preach to your customers about how to use a washroom I would urge you to reconsider and look at how to address customer feedback with some grace and learn from it. Anyways, doesn't bother me as I will neither be returning and certainly not be...

Read morePrime Rose Goa provides an experience defined by two main aspects: exceptional cuisine and disappointing service delays. Let's start with the culinary highlights. Our group enjoyed approximately 10 dishes, each surpassing our expectations in flavor and presentation. The steaks, particularly the surf and turf beef steak and beef tenderloin, were standout favorites, cooked to perfection with a tender texture and exquisite taste, showcasing the culinary expertise of Prime Rose Goa's kitchen staff.
However, our dining experience was hindered by significant service delays. Despite being told our order would be ready in 25 minutes, we waited almost 2 hours for our items to be served. Even simple items like beers took an unexpectedly long time to arrive. While we anticipated some delay due to our group size of 14, the extent of the delay was excessive, compounded by initial inattentiveness from the waitstaff. Service only improved after expressing our concerns at the counter, with dishes finally starting to arrive. It's clear there were communication or staffing issues that led to this unfortunate experience.
While Prime Rose Goa delivers exceptional cuisine, the service delays detract from the overall dining experience. It's hoped that management will address these issues promptly to ensure future guests can fully enjoy the restaurant's culinary offerings without...
