Route 66, a gem in Panjim. Happened to be here for lunch on a Sunday. They had a live band playing that afternoon. Absolutely loved the singers and the beats. This place has a beautiful bar and rusty interiors. Amazing paintings on the wall. Sofa chair seating. It has a lively ambience and friendly vibes. They specialize in lip smacking burgers and American style dishes. Really appreciate the welcoming nature of the staff.
Few checks

Some dishes to try: Beer Battered prawns –Perfectly marinated and cooked. It is basically prawns coated with beer batter, golden fried and served with wasabi mayo.
Potato skins – My favorite from the afternoon. It is large potato shells, fried golden brown, filled with jack and cheddar cheeses and some veggies. It is served with a side of sour cream. There is a chicken and pork version for this dish as well.
Peanut butter and bananas with marshmallows – This is a definite have. Loved this milkshake to the core. Additionally, it has vanilla ice cream, milk and snicker bar topped with marshmallows.
Burn out burger – It had 2 chicken patties, onion rings and chicken wings on top of it. The burger was juicy and so filling. After this dish, we were so full that we did not end up ordering desserts.
It is a perfect place to enjoy some American music with...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences and food I have had anywhere in India or Internationally. This is coming from someone who is an avid traveler. There is lack of staff, service was poor. Everything including water, salt, oregano, ketchup had to be asked for. Electricity went out, and the place felt dingy with no ventilation or back up. When we asked for cold water in such scorching heat, he got us a chilled packaged water bottle costing rs70 (they didn't bother to tell us before handing over the bottle). When we asked them, if they can give ice in the water, they said no, if you want cold u have to take packaged water. When we asked another Attendant about no cold water being served, he said yes they can give iced water . The food was pathetic. Pasta was bland with not even enough salt. We had to ask them to redo it. Burger buns were fried. When we tried to give feedback to the Attendant attending us, he fired back at us and said "you don't know this type of food and preps for it, hence u are saying like that" when Pasta and burger is the most common thing in India or Internationally. His attitude was so bad that we couldn't even stand there for a minute more. He added service charge without asking us, against law. I would not recommend going to this restaurant due to bad attitude and equally bad food, if you want to...
Read moreBeer scam, watch out! Visited an empty restaurant, started off with them informing us that they hardly have any beers from the menu (all the usuals) but have a draft. It's Bira the cheapest beer you can buy anywhere. Ordered food, it's nice, but small portions and cover your chips in pepper, kept asking to top up my beer. The owner just stands with his headphones in watching his phone, they don't want you to be there. Here's the scam which has annoyed me so much and just want people to avoid the restaurant for this reason, the cheap beer, on draught and not on the menu, they add it to your bill at 3 times the most expensive beer on the menu. 199 rupees for one glass. Turned our 1200 rupee meal into 2000 rupees and only had 2 glasses each. They know what they are doing, all other beer are 70 rupees, conveniently they don't stock them but they have the cheap draught for 199 rupees. They must be desperate if they are trying this on with tourists. Saw other tables order the 5 pint jug, they are in for a surprise when they get the bill. I don't like to post reviews like this and try to think of the positives but feel they are purposely missleading customers to make a quick...
