Respected Sir,
We were group of 6 persons came to Goa on 21.03.2025 for refreshment from our busy schedules as we all are working in very reputed companies.
we went to dining there on 21.03.2025 for food and drink. The restaurant staff gave us seat and took our order. They provide drink and food worth Rs 5933. When we went for dancing by seeing others, security guard came and told us not to dance. We asked manager for this behavior. He said you people are not allowed to dance. He showed one board on the roof that's says "only couples and family in the restaurant".
If it was so, then why they made us enter the restaurant and served us food and drinks. This was so bad and we all felt so harassed because our whole mood was spoiled by their talks. secondly one waiter took our half filled beer in between when we were out for dancing without asking us. We asked the manager about this behavior but he kept on saying unnecessary things only and charged us fully in the bill. It was opinioned by us that due to off season, these people are welcoming all people in their restaurant so that they can loot them as much as possible. The restaurant was having dance floor and we have seen google reviews of people who were dancing there in groups but in actual everything has changed.
Nowhere in the restaurant is written the instructions that "Dancing is not allowed for people in groups or so". It was totally misleading and harassment of us
They ruined our night time and it was very bad and painful to see restaurants are looting us in their off seasons. We paid full bill amount as there was no discount for misbehavior and for taking the half filled beers without permission.
These people should be taught a good lesson coz they are ruining the...
Read moreHi there foodies! Are you looking for the perfect spot to satisfy your cravings for flavorful meals and refreshing drinks? Look no further because St. Anthony's restaurant at Baga beach is the ultimate destination for all your foodie needs.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at St. Anthony's and let me tell you, it was an experience I won't forget. First of all, the restaurant is open all year round, unlike other seasonal restaurants, so you can enjoy their delicious offerings anytime you want. How convenient is that?
One of the unique features of St. Anthony's is their big side beds, perfect for lazy brunches or romantic candlelight dinners. And if you're in the mood for some entertainment, they also have an indoor space where they play great music and even have karaoke nights for their guests. Now that's what I call a well-rounded dining experience.
Let's talk about the real star of the show, the food. From seafood to tandoori to Chinese, St. Anthony's has it all and believe me, it's all delicious. I couldn't find anything to complain about with their dishes, they were all bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. And don't even get me started on their mocktails and alcohol choices, they will surely elevate your dining experience.
One thing to note is that parking may be a bit of a challenge as there is no designated parking lot for the restaurant and it's a bit far from the main area. But trust me, the inconvenience is worth it for the fantastic food and service you'll receive.
So next time you're in Goa, make sure to pay a visit to St. Anthony's restaurant at Baga beach. I promise you won't regret it....
Read moreI visited this place with a couple of friends it was a pleasant experience. It seemed relatively empty as we were visiting during off-season that too in the late afternoon. The service was quick and the Hookah we had ordered was good. An attender kept changing the coals regularly without being prompted, which was nice.
Coming to the food, we had ordered Calamari, Chicken Cafreal, Chicken Chilly (Goan variant) and a plate of fried Kingfish. For the drinks, we had ordered Cashew Feni. The Chicken Cafreal was very delicious and was hands down the best dish we ordered. The rest of the food was good too, except for the fried Kingfish. From what me and my friends gathered, it wasn't marinated well and had very less salt other than the fact that it might have not been fresh.
The feni was good but we would have preferred if they had a supply of Cajulo Cashew Feni.
The place has a decent view of the beach although we couldn't soak it in all it's glory thanks to the ongoing monsoon season.
Overall, it's a great place to go to. My friend who brought us here said we probably came during the wrong time sine all her experiences have been great. I loved the place anyways and will definitely visit it once again when I am back in Goa.
One thing to note, the place had a lot of flies after a while and it actually became a sort of nuisance. Hopefully the staff will have a solution for it...
