A Mixed Bag of Experience
Casanova Restaurant is located within walking distance from the beach in Palolem. The restaurant's prices for food are moderate and reasonable, neither too expensive nor too cheap.
However, the experience with the staff was mixed. While two ladies were humble and welcoming, one male staff member was not so friendly. As a result, some customers might feel uncomfortable discussing their requirements with him.
The ambiance of the restaurant is impressive, with bright and welcoming colors. It creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a meal with friends or family.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including veg sandwich, cheese sandwich, healthy drink, aloo paratha, and idly. While the aloo paratha was okay, the idly was disappointing. It was hard and chewy, unlike the soft and tender idly commonly found in Hyderabad.
On a positive note, the healthy drink was delicious, with the right taste and consistency, freshly prepared for us. However, the sandwiches were mediocre, with nothing special to write home about. The quantity of the sandwiches served was also less than expected, given the price charged.
Overall, our experience at Casanova Restaurant was satisfactory, with nothing exceptional to mention, except for the vibrant colors in the restaurant. While the food quality was average, the staff's behavior was mixed, with some being welcoming and others...

We drove all the way from Margao, South Goa, to have lunch at Bella’s Kitchen, only to find out it opens at 2 PM—we were there by 1:15 PM, hungry and looking for alternatives. That’s when we stumbled upon Casanova in Palolem, and honestly, it turned out to be the best decision of our trip.
From the moment we stepped in, the service stood out. Mr. Kumar, our server, was friendly, attentive, and gave us a fantastic recommendation—the Casanova Special 1947 Butter Chicken over the regular one. And wow, what a dish! It was easily the finest butter chicken I’ve ever had, anywhere in the world. Perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy, bursting with flavor in every bite. We paired it with naan, and the combination was simply divine.
We also tried the Chicken Dry Fry, which was decent in taste—not extraordinary, but still enjoyable.
The service was quick, the washrooms were clean, and though we initially parked at the paid parking near Palolem Beach, we later found out Casanova has its own parking—so make sure to ask when you visit.
As for Bella’s Kitchen, we did go back the next day out of curiosity, and honestly, it was a big letdown (you can read my detailed review on that separately).
If you’re in or around Palolem and craving some solid Indian food, skip the hype and head straight to Casanova. You won't be...

What's wrong in offering a healthy portion u are charging around 370rs a restaurant just beside u it's price rs270 for same thali ??) rice in bowl was just ok not enough for an adult.
A veg dish ordered the portion was just enough for the same price on the beach the portion served their is enough for 4 people.
BCS of throat issue we ordered glass of likewarm water which was served via espresso steam wand, charged rs25 for this ( seriously using a steam wand to warm water u charge for it !!!) we ordered 2 glasses of it charged rs50, although we had water bottle on the table.
