Viva Panjim is a family-run restaurant in a colorful, heritage home in the heart of Panjim, Goa. The restaurant offers traditional Goan cuisine, as well as a selection of seafood and steak dishes.

I recently visited Viva Panjim with a group of friends, and we were all very impressed with the food and the ambience. We started our meal with the squid butter garlic fry, which was perfectly cooked and had a delicious, garlicky flavor. For our main courses, we ordered the pork roast, the pork xacuti, and the mixed seafood sizzler. The pork roast was tender and juicy, the pork xacuti was flavorful and spicy, and the mixed seafood sizzler was a generous portion of grilled prawns, fish, and squid.

We also tried the Goan fish curry, which was another delicious dish. The curry was made with fresh fish, tomatoes, and spices, and it had a rich and flavorful taste. For dessert, we shared the caramel pudding, which was light and creamy.

The service at Viva Panjim was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very pleasant. The restaurant is located in a beautiful old house, and the interior is decorated with traditional Goan artifacts.

Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at Viva Panjim. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the ambience was charming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Goa.

Here are some additional details about the dishes we ordered:

Squid butter garlic fry: This dish is made with fresh squid that is coated in a batter of flour, garlic, and spices, and then fried until golden brown. It is a light and flavorful dish that is perfect for sharing. Pork roast: This dish is made with pork that is roasted in the oven until it is tender and juicy. It is served with a side of Goan-style rice and vegetables. Pork xacuti: This is a traditional Goan curry that is made with pork, tomatoes, and spices. It is a flavorful and spicy dish that is sure to please. Mixed seafood sizzler: This dish is made with a variety of seafood, including prawns, fish, and squid, that are grilled and served on a sizzling platter. It is a hearty and delicious dish that is perfect for sharing. I would definitely recommend Viva Panjim to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Goan meal. The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the ambience...

A Taste of Goa's Culinary Riches: Viva Panjim Delight

Viva Panjim Restaurant is a delightful culinary oasis nestled in the heart of Goa, offering a tantalizing journey through the region's vibrant flavors. Our recent visit was an exquisite experience, filled with authentic Goan delicacies that left our taste buds dancing in delight.

The Crab Xec Xec was a standout dish, with succulent crab meat enveloped in a rich coconut gravy infused with aromatic spices. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and utterly divine.

The prawn curry was another highlight, featuring plump, juicy prawns bathed in a luscious curry sauce that had just the right amount of heat and tanginess to tantalize the palate.

For those seeking vegetarian options, the veg vindaloo was a true revelation. Tender chunks of vegetables were bathed in a fiery vindaloo sauce, bursting with robust flavors that left us craving for more.

The chonak rava fry was a crispy, golden delight, with the delicate flavor of the fish perfectly complemented by the crunchy coating of semolina.

To add a touch of spice to our meal, we indulged in the mushroom chilli, a savory medley of mushrooms, peppers, and onions, sautéed to perfection and infused with bold spices.

No meal at Viva Panjim would be complete without sampling their delectable desserts. The serradura was a creamy, dreamy delight, with layers of biscuit crumbs and whipped cream creating a heavenly symphony of textures. And the caramel pudding was the perfect ending to our meal, with its velvety smoothness and rich caramel flavor leaving us in dessert paradise.

Overall, our experience at Viva Panjim Restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. From the warm hospitality to the exquisite flavors of Goa, every aspect of our dining experience was a testament to the culinary excellence of this establishment. Whether you're a seasoned Goan cuisine aficionado or a curious foodie looking to explore new flavors, Viva Panjim is a must-visit destination that promises to delight and enchant...

Authentic Goan Flavors in a Cozy Setting

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Viva Panjim, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. The restaurant, located in a beautifully restored heritage home, offers an intimate and cozy ambiance that sets the tone for a wonderful meal.

The service was attentive and friendly, with our server happy to guide us through the menu and make recommendations. And what a menu it is! Viva Panjim serves up authentic Goan cuisine, with dishes that are both familiar and innovative.

We started with the fish lollipops, which was flavorful and aromatic, with just the right amount of spice. For our main course, we opted for the piggling torradinho, prawn curry and chicken xacuti, all of which were cooked to perfection. The torradinho was sweet and spicy, with tender chunks of pork, while the prawn curry was rich and creamy, with a delightful balance of spices.

The portions were generous, and we left feeling satisfied but not stuffed. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food and service. For dessert we ordered the seradurra, caramel pudding and bebinca which were all delicious.

Overall, I would highly recommend Viva Panjim to anyone looking for authentic Goan cuisine in a cozy and intimate setting. Don't miss the opportunity to try their delicious dishes!

It’s a beautiful restaurant set up in an old heritage bungalow with outdoor seating, a non AC as well as an AC section by the narrow lanes of Fontainhas - Panjim. Coming to the Food this place is a Gem. Among the Sizzlers you can try out anyone from their menu and you are going to love it .
