Xavier’s cafe — Restaurant in Goa

Got such a chill vibe the moment I entered this one! Car parking or bike parking is right outside! Location is super easy to find. We started with the combo of starters- som tom, veg spring rolls and bbq chicken wings along with mai Thai! The son Tom was a raw papaya salad was crunchy and the fish oil gave it a lovely flavour. The spring rolls were crisp to perfection. The bbq chicken wings had the smoky aroma and were tender! The mai Thai was light and delicious. The mains included the nana noodles and the red curry and rice. The nana noodles had a mild flavour but dressed well with vegetables. The red curry was nothing like iv had elsewhere in most places- it wasn’t entirely red but had the beautiful chilly flavour and just like an actual red Thai curry. Our meal ended with the banana fritter with ice cream which was really good! The hospitality of the staff was on point and I loved that he remembered I needed normal water and my friend needed cold when we asked for a refill. The decor is brilliant and gives food court feels! Just placed an order from here after seeing positive reviews as we wanted to try a new place, but was greatly disappointed. Firstly, items were missing from my order leaving me with insufficient food, and while eating we found a maggot in the Thai green curry, was absolutely disgusted. When we tried to reach the restaurant they were so negligent by not answering our calls. This is unacceptable, and this tardy unhygenic restaurant can spread food poisoning. Been looking at coming to Bangkok for a while now and it did not disappoint, for that short moment, we were taken to the streets of Bangkok, taking it's sights and sounds with it's amazing decor and interesting tables, the ice tea begins that journey that's followed an amazing Pad Thai and ends with the must have mango sticky Rice.

It was a chance meet that we met the owner Vinny, who is known for his famous restaurant Relish, we ended up having an amazing chat with him about his future endeavours.
