I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at fish deck in Goa, and I must say it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. My expectations were high with their reviews, given the restaurant's reputation, but alas, the tasteless and underwhelming dishes left me utterly disappointed.

Not a single dish we ordered was even remotely up to the mark. It seemed as if the chef had no understanding of flavor profiles or how to properly prepare fish. The fish itself was overcooked and dry, lacking any of the freshness or succulence one would expect from seafood in a coastal region. The flavors were bland and uninspiring, leaving me longing for the vibrant and aromatic tastes that Goan cuisine is known for.

Even a simple lime soda, which should have been a refreshing accompaniment to the meal, turned out to be a tasteless concoction. It was as if they had forgotten to add any lime or sugar, resulting in a flat and unappetizing beverage. This lack of attention to detail and care was evident throughout the entire dining experience.

The only redeeming quality was the atmosphere. I must admit that the ambiance was pleasant, with a charming coastal decor and a relaxed vibe. However, it's important to note that a restaurant should not rely solely on its environment to compensate for its culinary shortcomings. The lackluster food and disappointing service overshadowed any positive aspects the atmosphere had to offer.

In conclusion, this fish restaurant in Goa left a bitter taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. The subpar dishes, tasteless lime soda, and lackluster service were all major letdowns. While the atmosphere was pleasant, it simply could not compensate for the overall disappointment. I would strongly advise against wasting your time and money at this establishment, as there are far better options available in Goa that truly showcase the region's...

Ambiance Fish Deck Goa boasts a charming and relaxed ambiance, perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The decor is a delightful blend of modern and coastal themes, with rustic wooden furniture and maritime-inspired accents. The outdoor seating area provides a lovely view of the surrounding landscape, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends.

Service@ Mahindra The staff at Fish Deck Goa are attentive and friendly, always ready to recommend dishes and ensure that your dining experience is top-notch. Service is prompt, and the team is well-versed in the menu, which is especially helpful for first-time visitors. Food The menu at Fish Deck Goa is a seafood lover's dream. Featuring an extensive selection of fresh catches, the restaurant offers everything from classic Goan fish curry to innovative seafood platters. And the food is very tasty and worth the price

Vegetarian options are also available, ensuring that everyone in your party can find something delicious to enjoy.

Drinks The bar at Fish Deck Goa serves a wide variety of beverages, from classic cocktails to local favorites. Don't miss out on trying their signature Goan feni-based cocktails, which pair wonderfully with the seafood dishes.

Value for Money While Fish Deck Goa leans towards the pricier side, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience justify the cost. It's a fantastic place for a special night out or to celebrate a special occasion.

Fish Deck Goa is a must-visit for anyone in Goa looking to indulge in high-quality seafood. With its inviting ambiance, excellent service, and mouth-watering dishes, it's sure to leave a...

This place was a complete waste of time!! We went there to specifically have thalis (after reading positive reviews). Initially when I entered, I observed that no tables had food on the table. We ordered 3 thalis, squid masala fry, and Veg fried rice. After asking them for the food for almost an hour, they only managed to serve the squid masala fry. We asked them to atleast bring the veg fried rice, but they mentioned it will take more 10 minutes. After more than 1.5 hours of waiting on our table for food, THEY INFORMED US THAT THEY RAN OUT OF THALIS! If they ran out of thalis, they could have informed us while placing the order. Or atleast 15 minutes after that. All of us were super hangry and decided to leave. They forced us to pay for the squid and simply denied to apologise for their mistake. The manager HID AWAY and decided not to have a conversation with us. The management is terrible here and seems like local cab drivers are getting commission to suggest their customers this place. Such bad service and I’m surprised how the reviews are so great. Please save your time and money and spend on local food instead. You’re sure to have a bad...

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the end result. My whole experience started off pretty well and I would have definitely graded this restaurant with more stars. I was severely ripped off with my bill. I ordered a pomfret tandoori which was marked at APC, depending on size. I was charged 1800 rupees, $40 AUD, €20 for a small pomfret for one person. As I was new in Goa I did think it was a on the pricey side but it was still ok by western standards. Now I’ve been here for a while I realized that they charged me something that should have been 800-900 rupees for 1800!! I am disgusted as it was the same manager/owner who served me throughout and would have seen my bill was huge and surely there was a mistake. I even left them a tip on top of their service charge, which he took happily. There are definitely other restaurants on that strip of road that will do exactly the same menu and won’t rip you off. Don’t be dazzled by the decor, crowd and music. Try Starlight next door, which was originally where I was going to and am very disappointed that I didn’t go with my gut instinct.

Fish Deck, located close to Calangute Beach and just 2 km from Baga Beach, is a popular spot for seafood lovers. We tried the Mickey Mouse mocktail, Veggie Delight pizza, and the signature prawn thali. The mocktail, a blend of vanilla ice cream, orange juice, and pineapple juice, was refreshing and enjoyable. The Veggie Delight pizza, however, was disappointing. Despite the generous toppings, the tortilla base and the subpar cheese made it unappealing, even though it resembled a cheese burst pizza. The prawn thali, the restaurant's highlight, was a mixed bag. The authentic Goan prawn gravy was delightful, while the seashell curry and crab curry were average. Accompaniments like fish pakoras, pineapple gravy, sol kadhi, and raw mango added variety, but the overall thali experience was just satisfactory. The ambiance, however, was a winner, with live lobsters and fish on display, great music, and attentive staff enhancing the dining experience.
