Usha Dhaba & Chinese Dish — Restaurant in Great Himalayan Range

My hotel owner recommended this place for momos ...so despite of narrow lanes and having a pet ,I went to get lunch from here . Took mutton fried momos,chicken steamed momos and Chicken chowmien...paid 440/- ..so you see not cheap... It was empty when I went at peak lunch hours Mutton fried momos were excessively salty and burnt Chowmien had chewy chicken pcs and very less quantity for price paid Chicken momos were average too

There were two ladies at the dhaba ,one cooking and one at counter and though they were talking in their local language I could gather they were discussing me ...my red hair and mocking me ...felt very sad and bad inspite of being in my own country and made to feel like a foreigner that too when usually north Indians are blamed for making fun of himachalis ...

Will never recommend this place for food...

Usha dhaba as name suggest has been named upon a generous ,hard working and well mannered lady name Usha ,I called her Usha didi ,right from milk tea to pranthas to momos to thukpa ,she makes every dish great ,you won't leave Usha dhaba without tasting all the things in the menu,she also tells you about kasol,its people and her experience about tourists ,she is an amazing lady!! I am looking forward to visit kasol and this place again. I recommend everyone to visit...

This is the place if you want to have the most amazing Gyathuk or Thenthuk, which are soupy noodle dishes, commonly referred to as Thukpa. It's a small family run business, and one guy makes it all. The taste of the broth, with its warmth and spice, is just what your aching body needs after a trek in the cold. We didn't try anything other than the Mutton Thukpa, so I can only recommend that one.
