Read moreBasically, I reserved my table via Zomato today. We thought we might be late because of unpredictable weather and traffic, but we actually reached earlier than the reserved time and ordered our food. We finished our meal early, planned to leave, and paid via Zomato with a 15% discount (hardly âč100).
As we were leaving, a so-called waiter stopped us and sarcastically commented that we had booked the table only after entering the restaurant, which he said was not fair. We didnât have time to argue, so we paid an additional âč200 (more than they deserved) and left.
We are not asking for a refund or any further arguments, but we want to clarify that the way he spoke to us with sarcasm was not appropriate. The restaurant was almost empty, as it usually is, and our bill was over âč1,000 (surely a rare billing for them). My suggestion to the management is: please donât put up offers if you cannot afford them.
We didnât do anything wrong and even paid extra money, yet you didnât have the audacity to return that additional amount and instead asked us to leave after that.
But donât worryâwe will keep coming and making larger bills so that you can at least afford to run such minimal offers, and weâll also suggest our friends to visit more often so that you donât have to beg for such small amounts again...
Read moreI recently visited Ahmedabad for a day and for my lunch I went to Cafe Cuppuccino. The portion size and the presentation of all the dishes I ordered was really appreciable.
I tried the Pizza Fondue for the first time and it was really yummy and was served super hot & fresh. Unlike expectations, it wasnât just very cheesy but also had the right amount of vegetable stuffing inside which was a perfect balance. They also have Pizza cake & Volcano pizza which seemed interesting. I will try it next time :D
Next up, I tried the Hot Chocolate which was really rich and flavourful. It was not very sweet and just the way I like. My friend ordered Virgin Mojito which she loved too!
We also ordered Pull out bread and Aglio-e-olio Spaghetti. The spaghetti was a bit dry and lacked seasonings unlike the aglio-olio which is supposed to be greasy because of olive oil. Nonetheless, it had veggies and presentation was good.
Overall, I had a lovely experience with a very humble staff. Their Pizzas are...
