LORDS BANQUET RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Gujarat

Today, we had lunch at Lords Banquet Fine Dine restaurant at Rajkot. Unfortunately, the food quality was highly disappointing and did not justify the pricing at all. Below is a detailed review of the items we personally ordered:

Soup: Hot and Sour Soup

This soup was entirely unsatisfactory. It lacked the signature spiciness associated with a proper hot and sour soup. The consistency was watery and the flavor profile was completely off. It felt like a rushed and carelessly prepared dish.

Manchow Soup

The Manchow soup was no better. It lacked the depth of flavor, spice, and richness expected from this classic Indo-Chinese dish -further diminishing the overall experience.

Main Course:

Paneer Lababdar

The paneer was also unsatisfactory. The gravy was bland, lacking the creamy, slightly sweet, and mildly spicy flavor typically found in a good Paneer Lababdar. It seemed like an ordinary tomato-based curry without any special touch.

Veg. Maharaja

The name suggests a royal, rich preparation, but the actual dish was tasteless and uninspiring. The vegetables were poorly cooked and uneven in texture. The gravy lacked seasoning and had no distinctive flavor. It felt like a hastily prepared dish that did not match its name or price tag.

All the items we ordered were overpriced considering the poor quality and taste. The presentation was below average and the food didn’t reflect any finesse expected from a “fine dine” restaurant.

The overall experience was disappointing, especially because it was an official lunch with my boss and colleagues.

The restaurant is having good ambience and great food too ...the service is also good in this pandemic times they are doing good as all waiters and staff are wearing mask and hand gloves ...the food is really awesome ...we had sizzler which was good followed by the main course i.e. punjabi sabji ...kulcha,roti,naan was really awesome and they also have good service .only one thing was Missing they have small rest room where at a time only one person can go.... overall a nice options inside the city for having good time with...
