LOVYAM SWEETS — Restaurant in Gujarat

I visited Lovyam Sweets, Thaltej yesterday to order sweets for the company. I was shocked to see insects inside their display containers. When I pointed this out, the staff said that those sweets were just for display and that the “real” sweets were stored elsewhere and were safe. But I literally saw insects in the same container they claimed was safe.

After that, I also tried the cham cham, and it was stale—it tasted awful.

I am writing this review for quality awareness:

We pay a good amount, so we deserve food that is fresh and hygienic. I strongly urge Lovyam to improve their quality control and ensure that the sweets they sell are safe for consumption. Until then, I cannot recommend buying sweets from this location—you’re risking bad quality and...

I have had two bad experiences... Today I bought fafda and jalebi from there... I told us to give it only if it is fresh... They made me wait 10-15 min and gave me my parcel.. but those fafda were so bad I felt like I was gone for 1-2 days.. It seemed to be reheated several times.. When I went to the shop to return it, they were not ready to believe that the lungs were not fresh.. Then they tell me that the bill has been created so the money will not be returned... seriously third class service ever… please stay away from this...

I ordered chole bhature from Lovyam Sweets & Restaurant in Thaltej for dinner today. The bhature were humongous, as promised, and they were delicious! The chole were also very good, with a nice balance of spices. The whole meal was very filling and satisfying.

Overall, I was very happy with the chole bhature I ordered from Lovyam Sweets & Restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great chole bhature in Thaltej.
