Mleko — Restaurant in Gujarat

This charming café is by far my favorite place for coffee in Ahmedabad, and one of my favorite places (if not my favorite place) in the city overall. I was first introduced to Mleko by a close friend after I mentioned I was looking for a coffee shop w/ quality espresso (and wifi) to spend my weekend mornings.

The very first time she brought me, I knew I did not need to look any further. Mleko quickly became a part of what made Ahmedabad feel like home…a place I always looked forward to going to and could spend hours, even a full day, seated at my favorite table. For the slightly embarrassing number of stamp cards I filled—often visiting multiple times a week or back-to-back days—I was never disappointed by any espresso/matcha bev or my frequently ordered veg toast or hummus exotic sandwich. I came to have such trust in the place, certain everything would always be just right. Mleko takes quality and consistency seriously, and it shows.

I spent enough time at the cafe to try every item on the menu, but I primarily stuck to my go-tos (iced latte, matcha, or capp w/ almond milk, lemon-mint iced tea, or anything involving hummus). I would wholeheartedly recommend any of these items to anyone. They are all soooo delicious. I can also vouch for the fact that my friends ventured into other items—pastas, bowls, bagels—and the bites I tried were always very tasty. Anyone I dragged along with me to Mleko was more than content with their experience.

While Mleko is perfectly suited for takeaway, I’ve always found it best enjoyed slowly, in its quaint, minimalist, yet well-curated space. The Navrangpura location has a certain feeling to it that is hard to name. It’s small and simply decorated, yet it feels full…softly lit, thoughtfully arranged, though not cold or pretentious. I’ve done some of my best remote work there, and I’ve also found it an ideal spot to journal, read, share a meal, or catch up with a friend. It is designed for pause, and given the care the staff puts into each item, I feel it is best to come when you can to enjoy the experience (not in a rush).

Mleko seems to be getting the hype and appreciation it deserves, drawing in many regulars and coffee connoisseurs alike, as well as expanding to new locations and hosting speciality events. I do hope this success continues. Still, as it grows more popular, I also hope Mleko holds onto what makes it so special: its relaxed and personal atmosphere. This only manifests from the ‘people of Mleko.’ It is truly because the team/staff/choti parivar here is uniquely special, that such a warm and thoughtful environment (as well as the delicious food and drinks) can be facilitated. This, in my mind, is ultimately what makes Mleko Nav what it is. Ahmedabad is known for its café culture, but I never encountered another spot that comes close to filling the space Mleko does.

I would like to extend a sincere, wholehearted THANK YOU to the entire Mleko family (in no particular order)– Meetu, the most radiant Manisha, Ahaan, Sagar, Karan, Zaib, Nithin Shudarshan, Amrish, Shambhu, and the many others whom I regretfully did not get to know more personally (especially in the kitchen) but who provided me the best service day after day. I so deeply appreciate the care and welcoming energy you showed me every time I visited. Because of each one of you, Mleko became such a part of my weekly joy(s). You are all such a key reason Ahmedabad became a place I felt I could temporarily call my own. I found routine and comfort seated at table 3, among all of you. Finally, I would like to express gratitude to Siddharth Sir. You have an exceptional team, and I wish you continued success.

Mleko is a treasure, and I’ll miss so much about it (most of the people) so dearly. Do yourself a favor and consider paying it a visit if you’re looking for a place to slow down, unwind, laugh, and of course enjoy some absolutely delicious sips and bites

Mleko is the recently opened place in Ahmedabad near vijay cross road. They have different kind of shakes , jar, coffee and cookies at very reasonable price and new concepts of serving. 3D art coffee: I loved this coffee at the first sight. They have decorated it with the foam, which is amazing way to serve coffee. Also this is the only place which serves you this amazing 3D ART COFFEE at very reasonable price as well as it has perfectly balanced between taste and presentation. Blithe jars • Neapolitan: it was an amazing combination of Strawberry and cheese cake flavour. perfect presentation and perfect taste? • Tiramisu: It has the perfect flavour of tiramisu. It was the best tiramisu jar I've ever had. Perfectly layered tiramisu blithe jar. This is on my list. MUST TRY! Shakes •Nutella and strawberry cheesecake: it was super tasty. It gives perfect flavour of Nutella and cheesecake 😋 •Banana Foster: generally I don't prefer banana shakes. But this shake has all my heart and it's on my list whenever I visit this place. •Unicorn : it was so attractive and tastey, if you like sweet taste this is your thing to try! •Ferrero Rocher : who won't love Ferraro Rocher? Obviously this was the best one. Perfect texture, perfect taste and perfect presentation. Fortune cookie : this is really new concept and when you break cookie, one part of the cookie has chocolate mousse and another has coffee mousse. Both mousse has perfect flavour. Also thry have cookie having fruit mousse. Sandwiches • assorted vegetables: this is healthy yet tasty. It includes broccoli, zucchini, red cabbage and many more. • pesto pepper: this is new and super tasty. I've never had this amazing pesto...

This place is very peaceful! Wonderful Off Beat place. With Great Coffee, you can feel peace over here. This is just the place I would want to spend my evenings. I don't want to let people know about the place but that would be selfish so here I am, writing about it. Well Decorated, Low Key Compact Place with required furnishing. The city needed this kind of place as we have many Fancy cafes in town. They serve from 9 AM to Midnight and they allow you to work from there.

We tried their recommendation, and it was excellent. Flat White ( Simply Great Strong, little bitter Hot Coffee ) Mocha Frappe ( Cold Mocha with Yummy Cream )

They have good coffee and amazing food! We would surely recommend their Pesto Mozzarella Bagel !!! It was amazing!!! We had flat white coffee and one V60-light roast! Both were great!! They serve best blueberry cheesecake!!! It was a right combination of softness and sweetness!!!

The staff is super friendly and cooperative and go out of their way to make you feel welcome in the cafe. The ambience is unparalleled. You can work, reunite with friends, celebrate, or just sit in silence and this will always be the best for it. The interiors are tastefully decorated and there are multiple seating options, all of them being comfortable and pretty. Though I wish to keep this place as my hidden gem, I want to share my happy experience. If you’re looking for a cafe that you can always trust, I strongly recommend Mleko.
