Royal Punjab Paratha — Restaurant in Gujarat

Apparently due to Diwali, everyone is leaving for their home and so did the cook at the PG where I stay. With no option in hand for my lunch, planned with my colleague that's let's go to have some paratha.

Visited this place named "Royal Punjab Paratha" which is well known for its Paratha as the name of the place. Ordered Royal Paratha, which was at first to big which was a plus of this particular paratha, plus the way it was served with a handful of butter on the top it's just marvelous which not only keeps you from licking your fingers but also would tempt you to have more of them.

Really great tasting monster size Paratha. They have a wide range of partha on their menu and they can even make custom ones as per your taste. For example we ordered paneer onion garlic cheese Paratha. The size of the Paratha is really big, I don't think one person will be able to finish it, especially with all of that butter on top. They do add lots of butter like a really big chunk of butter on top. I highly suggest that you don't eat all of it and The owner should also consider adding less butter, about 25% of that should be more than enough. Just like the Paratha their buttermilk is also super loaded. It costs Rs.30 a glass. However it's very thick buttermilk and glass is also huge. Parthas price range is from 120 to around 250rupees. Must-tries: The cheese aloo capsicum, paneer cheese capsicum, and paneer cheese aloo parathas were absolute show stealers. Perfectly cooked, the filling was bursting with flavor and the cheese added a delightful creaminess.

Lassi:

Classic Choice: The regular lassi was a perfect accompaniment, cool, refreshing, and perfectly balanced.

It's great that they also offer mango and dry fruit lassi for those who enjoy a sweeter or fruitier twist.
