RP's Pizzeria Vijay Cross Road — Restaurant in Gujarat

Recently visited this place with some friends and surprisingly the place was crowded beyond expectation. The ambiance and the vibe of the place is pretty cool. Although it is quite apparent that they haven't changed much from the last restaurant that was in it's place - something called the red scooter. If my memory serves me well, both the walls are still exactly the same as before. However, the seating arrangement has changed and works pretty well for the pizzeria. The waiters seemed courteous and well-mannered - although not quite informed about the dishes. On my plate:

Fries topped with cheese sauce and grated cheese The Fries were extremely crispy and even the cheese sauce tasted quite good. If not for the grated cheese, it did taste amazing. I don't think there was any need for the grated cheese.

Toasties The short breads were also pretty good with what seemed like a balanced taste of bread, veggies, and cheese.

Margherita pizza It was a thin crust pizza, and while the crust was indeed delightful, the overall taste of the pizza seemed a bit off. In addition to the cheese and the sauce, the pizza somehow seemed to taste of fenugreek - now, I have no idea if it was a mistake or was it actually supposed to taste like this, because I know of no other pizzeria where I've had a margherita with a flavour of fenugreek. And the flavour was neither subtle nor very good - ruined the taste for me.

RPs special mix sauce pasta I'm not a big fan of pasta yet I did like the mixed sauce pasta here. It did taste refreshingly good, better than the mixed sauce pasta I've tried at many other places.

Spicy veggie pizza - the crust was way too think and buttery affecting the overall taste of the pizza in a not-very-good way. The taste of the sauce, the cheese and the veggies was masked by the overpowering taste of the crust/Base.

Bahubali 4 cheese pizza At 25", the pizza was indeed huge. However, compromising om taste for size is never a very clever idea. The base of the pizza was way too thick and too dry, so much so that there was no other way but to gulp it down with aerated drinks. The sauce and the cheese was also added in very small proportions, and we could hardly taste it. Despite being 4 cheese, I could hardly taste cheese at all, let alone 4 different cheeses. I did ask which cheeses they added, to which I was told they used a mixture of mozzarella, cheddar, monterey jack, and colby. Surprisingly I could taste none since all I could taste was the crust.

Needless to say, I didn't have a very good experience...

Best in class freshly cooked self made pizza joint where you can actually choose your toppings and type of crust, sauce size combos anything. It's वे much cheaper than the famous pizza joint Domino's with having numbers of varieties that will serve your taste buds with full of happiness.. Pizza lovers must go try that place once. You will love it I am sure.

Had a great time at pizzeria. Motivational quotes written on the wall as you can see. They make live pizzas i.e. we can see them making the pizza that we ordered and it applies to almost any dish on the menu.

On every Wednesday , they have the offer of 50% off on make your own pizzas , focasias and pasta and I had been there on same day but I got there little late so had to wait for my turn to dine for 40mins😅 so if you planning to enjoy this offer be there early.

Even when there was a rush our pizza was ready in about 15mins. Rp's pizzeria is a very good place where you can get some cheesy and delicious mouth watering pizxas and pastas, pizzeria is the venture of one of the known Ahmedabadi food chain real paprika. Damn !! What Delicious pizza they have 😍 Though the place is small , food is fabulous. Both thin crust and pan pizza are well cooked. They prepare they own base. Good number of options are there and you can also prepare your own pizza. Choose your base, sauce, toppings, cheese and oil 🍕Pizza are available in Two size 8” and 12”. I prepared my own pizza. One with thin crust I had authentic Italian sauce, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, capsicum, bell pepper, American corn, olives, jalapeños in toppings and drizzled it with chilly oil. 🤤 (I personally love thin crust , and it is best here) Another pizza I had was pan pizza with almost same cheese and toppings except I added paneer tikka in this one. Even this is amazing 😋 WHITE SAUCE PENNE PASTA were wow. Like really one of the best pasta I had. Cooked till perfection . 😀 This place is definitely on my favourite list. 😀 Besides all these good things, I had one bad experience with their delivery service. I placed order but didn’t received it even after 2 hrs. Delivery boy came once but forgot the order at place itself and second time didn’t appear even after multi calls.
