As someone from the southern part of India (Hyderabad), I can confidently say that Sankalp, The Taste of South, is an excellent choice for anyone craving authentic South Indian cuisine. The variety of dosas they offer is simply overwhelming—in the best way possible! You’ll find yourself confused about what to order because every single item on the menu looks so tempting.
I tried the onion dosa, and my colleagues (a group of six) explored various other dosa options. Each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The dosas were flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared, making it a truly satisfying dining experience.
What makes Sankalp stand out is the staff—they are extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. Their dedication to ensuring every customer has a great experience is truly commendable. You can tell they are very well-trained, and their attention to detail is top-notch.
The only downside is that the prices are slightly on the higher side. However, considering the quality, variety, and service, I still feel it’s worth it. This restaurant is a must-try for anyone who loves South Indian food. Highly...
Read moreThree days ago, on Sunday evening, my wife's niece took us to Sankalp Restaurant on Racecourse Road In Rajkot, Gujarat, India. This restaurant is famous for its vegetarian South Indian Cousins. The restaurant prepares and serves varieties of delicious Dosas, Idlis, Meduvadas, Uttapas with palatable chutneys (toothsome pastes made of coconut, lentils, hot chillies, cumin seeds, coriander leaves etc.) and Sambhar (A spicy curry made of pegion split lentils.) The beautiful, air conditioned, cozy restaurant has sitting arrangements for more than fifty persons. The Dosa, Rava Masala, and a plate of an Idli and a couple of vadas, we ordered, were very well prepared and served in highly professional manner. The customer service was excellent. The waiters, in uniform, were friendly, well-behaved, courteous, and efficient. If you're looking for a cozy place with good ambience and mouth watering, appetizing South Indian cousins, Sankalp is the right...
Read moreDear Sankalp Dhosa Team,
I recently visited your restaurant, and I’d like to share some feedback on my experience. Unfortunately, I found that certain aspects did not meet expectations given the prices.
The Mysore Masala Dosa and Masala Dosa seemed indistinguishable in taste and presentation, which was disappointing considering they are listed as separate items.
The Plain Dosa, priced at Rs. 240 + GST, didn’t feel justified in terms of quality.
I was also served a loose Coca Cola in a glass with a straw, priced at Rs. 35 + GST, which seemed unusual for a beverage typically served in a bottle.
The Buttermilk, priced at Rs. 85 + GST, did not feel worth the cost based on the quality provided.
I believe there’s room for improvement in the value delivered relative to the pricing. I hope this feedback will be considered to enhance the dining experience for future...
