Had a really bad experience in terms of food. Haven't had such pathetic buffet in long time. None of the items that were provided had a decent taste. Talking about starters, sweet potatoes?? Seriously?? Huge sweet corns?? Desi mirchi?? Some deep fried starters that just felt like eating raw flour, only for one out of 10 was decent. Coming to live counter, white sauce pasta that too sweet??? Vegetables didn't have basic add on that is olives, red sauce was equally bad. Considering the main course, I tried two paneer(cottage cheese) sabzis and one veg sabzi, again sweet!!?? I feel everything served except for starters fell under the category of dessert. Had ordinary steamed rice and paneer pulav(much like jeera rice with almost no paneer), dal Tadka was still edible. Finally about the desserts, brownie was the only best thing about the entire buffet, rest every other dessert was disappointing. It's just that I took my friends here and was absolutely hungry so managed to sit and eat or else I would never have continued such a meal. Pathetic experience(food). Felt like 650 rupees per person was a mere waste of money. Suggestion: Putting a lot of things on menu is not important, putting few but worthy(taste/flavour/hygiene/authenticity) is...
Read moreWe went to The Barbecue Grill for dinner on Friday, choosing the unlimited meal for 649 pp (gst extra). The food was average, but some things were not so good, especially considering the price.
The soups weren't great, and the main course had very limited options. From live counter, only papadi chat was good. The menu was a bit confusing because usually, other places have separate sections for 'On the Grill' and 'Starters'. But at TBG, they mixed them up, making it seem like there were more starters than there actually were. Most options were just ‘on the grill’ items, and there were only three real starters. Desserts, except for gulab jamun, were disappointing. The 'Chef Special' had too much chocolate syrup, making it taste bitter. Mocktails were good in taste, but it would be better if they keep it unlimited considering the price. The live ice cream station was nice as we could customize the topping, but they only had vanilla. It would be better if they had more ice cream flavors.
The service was good, but they took long time to get barbecue items with less spice, even after reminding them many times.
The ambiance was okay, but the tables for four people were small and made it hard to fit all the dishes...
Read moreWe had visited BBQ Grill for lunch. The spread was good Starters- Good, especially quality of Paneer was awesome. The Kababs were ok. Mocktail- Good. Can be little better with options which are quite different in taste and flavours. They were quite accomodative to have shots of different flavours rather than one option. Chaats- Panipuri wad Good. Papdi Chaat can be better Main Course- Excellent Sweet- Good spread and taste Positive- Pure Veg, Good Food, Excellent Spread worth the price Negative- Service could have been better with upselling and of course a smile 😃. Food Quality was average. The stomachache is common for 1-2 days. Overall- I personally love Speciality restaurants for different cuisine over currently popular unlimited offerings, but if you are not in big group for dining, you may miss to explore many Dishes. BBQ Grill is a good answer to this problem. However, difficult to expect better quality from most unlimited options offered by various restaurants with such low prices with an exception like Barbeq Nation. Disclaimer: I have come back on my review to downrate the food quality after experiencing...
