"I recently had the opportunity to dine at The masala country, and my experience was a mixed bag. While the quality of the food was quite good, I couldn't help but feel that it didn't quite live up to the high standards set by the menu prices.
The dishes we ordered were well-presented and flavorful, but lacked a certain wow factor that would have justified the premium pricing. That being said, the food was still enjoyable, and I appreciated the effort that clearly went into preparing each dish.
On the other hand, the interior environment of the restaurant was truly impressive. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a beautifully designed décor that created a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The lighting, seating, and overall aesthetic were all top-notch, making it a great spot to relax and unwind.
Unfortunately, the service speed was a major letdown. Our server was friendly and attentive, but the wait times between courses were excessively long. We found ourselves waiting for extended periods for our food to arrive, and even longer for the check to be processed.
Overall, I would say that The masala country shows promise, but needs to work on refining its service and ensuring that the quality of its food is consistent with...
Read moreWe had visited Masala County in Agora mall on a Saturday night. We are a family of 7 including 2 children under 3 years of age. The ambience was beautiful and live violin performance was amazing. Food was great too. We'd ordered Khasta Rumali, Afghani paneer, Methi matar Malai, Paratha, Pulao and I don't remember the name of the dal but it resembled Dal Makhani,it was scrumptious. However, there was one issue for which I have reduced one star in the rating. A group of 10 people were seated in table next to us and they had ordered for soup. We still hadn't ordered yet and were going through the menu. Suddenly the server started serving us soup which we didn't order. The group next to us even told the server that the soup was their order. But we were continously hounded by several waiters that we had ordered the soup and one of them was rude enough to ask us to "remember properly" if we had ordered soup. ( Acche se yaad kijiye aapne soup order Kia k nahi). This condescending tone irritated us a lot. That being said, one of the wait staff- Mr. Birkha Majumdar was quick to descalate the issue. His prompt action and great customer service saved the rest of the evening from being ruined....
Read moreMasala County in Agora Mall isn't just a regular restaurant—it's a place that feels like stepping into the world of Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma. The decorations really make you feel like you're part of the show, which adds a nice touch to your dining experience.
The staff there are super friendly and quick. They greeted us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
We went for the Jain unlimited food option, and it was great. They started us off with refreshing mocktails and juices, which was a nice way to begin. Then came the starters, like the delicious Hara Bhara Kababs that were full of flavor and really tasty.
For the main course, we enjoyed butter rotis and naans with a mix of yummy vegetable subzi and paneer subzi.
To finish off, we had Gulab Jamuns for dessert, which were heavenly and a perfect way to end our meal.
Overall, Masala County was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the themed setting was fun, and the service was top-notch. If you are looking for a great meal out, I'd definitely recommend checking out...
