Berco's — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I’ve had varied experiences with this particular outlet. Whereas the dining experience had been strictly ok as regards to food n all, the quality which is being home delivered is highly inconsistent in terms of quality and flavour. Being fond of garlic chicken, have ordered so many times, but the consistency of the gravy , the boneless pieces have been different everytime. Despite of mentioning that we don’t want spinach (personally on call and repeating) in the noodles, same thing was delivered.

Have been Being let down so many times by this particular outlet and now being forced to write a review. I’ve been to so many Berco’s outlets but never had such issues.

They’ll say that the flavour of the gravy is standard across but in this outlet , if we order in afternoon , the same dish tastes different and gravy has different color, aroma and consistency. Same thing if we order during night, the taste changes drastically.

Overall, it’s hopeless for those who know the Berco’s real taste.

A compete let down , this...

Yesterday I visited this place with my family. We ordered choupsey, noodles etc. The person brought and gave first serving. When we were about to do the second serving from the same container, there was a coackroach underneath it🤮. We complained and asked to take back the order. To our surprise, the manager saw all these but didn't come to apologize even once. Your menu shows 10% service charges apart from other taxes/ charges. What if people get ill because of your unhygienic food. How are you supposed to pay back to your customers? What is your responsibility towards customers? We waited for a few minutes to see the staff's response. When no one approached us, we left like civilized customers. I avoided taking pictures as they go long way and spoil restaurant's goodwill. I expected minimal civilized behavior from your end too.

I wonder what happened to this restaurant.. Didn't expect the quality of food to deteriorate to such a level. Not even one dish was upto the mark! The thai spring rolls and dimsums were hard as a rock, as if they were already prepared and simply reheated on order. Secondly, the curries in the main course were pretty much bland. (Yes, I did ask for less spicy food but at a restaurant of this status, a chef should be capable of improvising with the overall taste. But nope, the food had zero flavour.) In particular, the thai red curry lacked the freshness from the coconut milk and the aroma of rosemary and other herbs.

I think this restaurant has ultimately become the average Zomato/Swiggy type food joint and no longer focuses on providing us with the warm and delicious dine-in experience that 2 years ago, made me a fan of this food chain....
