Curry Singh Kitchen — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I finally visted this place after hearing a lot of friends & it was ok to me not WOW as heard. I visited to this place around 8:30 pm and ordered Rara & Tandoori Chicken in starters and to be true it was one of the best chicken i had in some time Juicy, Yummy proper taste of Masala & very well Marinated. I was in love to be true with Starters which include there Soya Chaap as well. But then the Graph started going down from the Dal Makhani,Tawa Bhindi, Dehi Chicken & Mutton everything we ordered. Dal Makhani have no salt, Dehi chicken was really not upto the mark & Mutton was ok. The Naan were a lot crispy & thin so full marks for that. The service was a lot slow & as we were 7 people we understand that & the Owner, the Chef Reetika Gill told us that they are bit of short on staff & we accepted that But when the food was not god enough It seems like a wrong decision to take all your friend's to such a place that too from East Delhi to Gurgaon. When we said there's no salt & taste is bland she said we cook balanced food & can customize accordingly you, That's great but How come starter's suit our taste & Main course not. We were 7 people with 7 different taste buds & nobody like it. That can't be no co-incidence.

Some, of the items we want to order were not in stock & the Desert of the day Kheer which I was looking forward to was also out of the stock. When we asked she said we cooked limited & It's over. So, either she cook less or today the people were more. It all ended in an off way & to be true we had 23 bottles of Coke & Soft drinks just waiting for the food.

I have heard & read about this place a lot but it's Not...

Amazing Home Style cooked food. Everything we order was yummy and felt like eating at home. Whole waiting for other family members we had Paneer Tikka. Soft as if Just given light charred with tastiest pudina chutney. They did not have any thing for kids so the waiter suggested he can ask chef to make parathan stuffed with aloo and onions and No CHILLIES with curd. He liked it. Makki di Roti and Sarson Saag was good. Mom who makes the best MDRSS also liked it. Only roti she said had to be thicker like we cook at home and flat instead of thin mixed with maida and uneven like tandoori roti.

Butter chicken boneless again amazing without cream and pure tomato based gravy. Soft Murgh Tikka. All the bread came at once as i had given all the order together and a bit in advance as they close by 3pm. Also the Chicken curry was as good as hone cooked. But we like the gravy watery rather than thick.

Also as punjabi we missed Onions in salad as its costly as Gold. So they served only Mooli. One strange things who charges for Papad.

Definitely a must visit again kind...

Am no reviewer but it doesnt take much to realise that its a gem in the hidden. And has been there since 2yrs? That was a news.

For someone who eats 2, ate 5 pcs of bread, speaks volumes. This has happened after a long time.

You may need to reconsider increasing the prices by a bit, to increase the portion size - while maintaining quality.

Dal makhni reminded of only the best 2, i have had. This definitely being the first.

Tandoori Soya, mocks chicken so very well with flavor n texture.

Matar paneer upped the best variant of home made few we have had.

The rotis smelled beautiful and tasted even better.
