I go often to Gurugram for my projects and meetings. Not being my residential place, I get into dilemma where to order food for my clients or myself. After reading some good recommendations, I placed my first order to an impressive chain, Dilli BC that serves North Indian Mughlai food.

My order arrived well in time and packaging seemed impressive and carefully done in corrugated Card boxes that kept our ordered food quite hot. The aromas of the food were spreading around from within the boxes and we couldn't wait for more. The boxes had individual items we ordered sealed packed, along with condiments, dips, cutlery, napkins and mouth freshner to go along. We ordered 2 starters, 1 Main course and 4 breads for 3 adults.

½ Bhatti Chicken with Wheat Roomali

This dish I have tasted few times before as not many outlets know how to prepare this spiced delicacy and being Old Delhi speciality, Dilli BC had done full justice to the dish. A masala rub of Indian herbs and spices on chicken with bone, with no artificial colors made this chicken finger licking good. Good 4 medium sized chicken pieces with spiced green chilli masala was a delicious dish. Not too much heat, but just the way I love to have. Ate it with Wheat Roomali Roti and onions and dips, and this dish certainly came out really well.

1 full Chicken Malai Tikka with Roomali

One of the most juiciest, flavourful Chicken Tikka, which was mouth melt-in, delicious, moist chicken boneless Tikka. The creaminess was in texture and glaze, but not too much of added cream. Paired them with Roomali, the plate had 8 medium sized chicken pieces.

½ Chicken Rara with 2 Garlic Naan

This dish is again one of my favorite, but not many restaurants serve authentic Rara chicken around. This rich chicken keema based chicken dish was cooked like a legend. The color of the gravy and oozed out Jus of Chicken was to die for. It had 4 good sized chicken pieces and good amount of gravy. Loved it.

The portions were good and we relished the quality and Quantity both. Loved the food and it was certainly a great delivery. Will be reordering...

Such a catchy name, how could I not order from this place. As the name suggests the menu is based primarily on North Indian Food. The were a lot on kebabs, tikkas and curries. Hence, I ordered my favourite Afghani Tikka and Butter Chicken along with butter naans. Also, a Gulab Jamun for dessert. They delivered on time, and the packaging was fine. The Afghani tikkas came in 2 boxes having 4 pieces each(half plate has 4 pieces) and with that came the Green Mint Chutney and Onions. The tikkas had a good stuffing and the stuffing was not falling off, which gave a great sense of satisfaction. The Butter Chicken was not very sweet, as is the case usually and gave a nice feel on my taste buds. The naans were delicious as well. At last came the Gulab Jamun, which had a proper filling inside. It had Elaichi and a little dry fruit right in the centre, making it quite rich.

All in all a great experience from Dilli BC, and I hope the same is delivered by all their branches across NCR.

The ultimate foodie paradise for every food lover in search for deliciously cooked Delhi style food in G town. Dilli BC as the name suggests is the restaurant carrying along the years long legacy of classic Indian meals. They are spreading the roots of Old Delhi themed food in towns of NCR. I personally liked the concept of reliving the soul of Old Delhi food and presenting it to the foodies in same traditional way with an authentic touch in every dish. I ordered the super fiesta of desi Indian food combining super food items. My order from the outlet included: Special Dal Makhni (BC DalMakhni) Egg Biryani Garlic Naan Gulab Jamun Trust me after having such a heavenly meal I felt blessed and enjoyed the food delivered by the restaurant as it lived up to the mark.
