Review of Haldiram’s Restaurant at AIPL Joy Street
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Haldiram’s Restaurant located in AIPL Joy Street, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant ambiance and warm hospitality set the tone for a fantastic meal.
The menu is a treasure trove of Indian delicacies, offering an impressive variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. I started with their famous chaat, which was bursting with flavors and perfectly balanced spices. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste that left me wanting more.
For the main course, I opted for their paneer butter masala paired with garlic naan. The paneer was incredibly soft, and the rich, creamy gravy was simply divine. The naan was fresh and fluffy, making it the perfect accompaniment to the curry. My dining companions also raved about their biryani and dal makhani, which were equally delicious.
The dessert selection was the cherry on top! I couldn't resist trying their signature gulab jamun, which was warm, sweet, and utterly satisfying. It was the perfect end to a wonderful meal.
The staff at Haldiram’s were attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
In conclusion, Haldiram’s at AIPL Joy Street is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a feast for both the palate and the eyes. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly...
Read moreRead moreFrankly , the food quality has gone down in the last 2 years . Ordered the following items rawa masala dosa - in its traditional taste, the dosa has a great texture and isn’t hard on the teeth. Haldiram’s preparation is very hard base. Sambhar is very sour and full of red chilly powder. The taste is totally imbalanced. The bhaji of the pao bhaji- it seems Haldirams only taste maker is garlic. And they add so much garlic in the dish that it stops being bhaji but becomes garlic chutney. The tomato chat ji is so full of ginger , that it starts hurting the tongue. The noodles were fine , but nothing great. so here is what I have to say : you are ruining the great taste of India. I am sure in due course of time, you will lose market share if this is the taste of your dishes and if it continues to fall. One last thing, when there are 2 counters, both of them should be manned, what’s the point of keeping 2 payment counters and 1 server. it only creates queues. Basic operations. Anyhow , it’s the food which needs to be...
The food is definitely good but you can't say the same about the service.
If you want one of the most pathetic experiences of your life, please feel free to visit this place on a Saturday night and oh boy, you won't be disappointed.
They serve deep freezed dosas immediately to your table and then you have to remind the staff that you need to heat up the food before a human eats it.
Tandoori Sizzler takes 1 hour to get to your table after the staff tells you to wait for 15 mins four times.
And amid all this madness, the restaurant has a brilliant manager whose only job is to tell customers "it will take some time". This statement is told to even those customers who are prepaying for their order because even the computor system feels like not working.
Please please please stay away from this ill-planned restaurant...
