A Memorable Evening at IFC Social, Gurugram
I recently had the pleasure of visiting IFC Social in Gurugram, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the bustling city, this restaurant boasts both indoor and outdoor seating, accommodating up to 200 covers. As I stepped in, the vibrant ambiance and lively atmosphere set the stage for a memorable evening.
To kick off my culinary adventure, I opted for the Cosmo Explosion, a twisted classic that blended Candy Floss, Smirnoff, Cranberry juice, triple sec, and orange zest. The burst of flavors was a perfect start to the evening. Following that, I couldn't resist ordering my favorite, the Longest Long Island Iced Tea (LLIIT), which lived up to its reputation, refreshing and potent.
For appetizers, I decided to indulge in a variety, starting with the Charred Vegetable Spring Rolls. The crispy exterior and the flavorful filling made it an instant hit. Next on the list was the Juicy Lucy Mutton Burger, a succulent delight that satisfied my burger cravings. To add a spicy kick, I ordered the Chilli Chicken, and the perfect balance of spices left my taste buds tingling with joy.
Moving on to the mains, I couldn't resist trying the Atmanirbhar Chinese Box, a unique concept that allows you to create your own combo. My personalized box featured paneer, hot garlic sauce, and hakka noodles—a symphony of flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied.
One of the highlights of IFC Social is its tempting offer of unlimited drinks starting at INR 999 and daily happy hours lasting 2.5 hours. This not only adds to the affordability but also encourages patrons to relax and enjoy their time without worrying about the tab.
In conclusion, my maiden visit to IFC Social was a wonderful experience that tantalized my taste buds and left me eagerly anticipating my next visit. The diverse menu, creative cocktails, and vibrant ambiance make it a must-visit spot for food enthusiasts and social butterflies alike. If you're in Gurugram and looking for a place that seamlessly blends good food, great drinks, and a lively atmosphere, IFC Social should undoubtedly be on your list. Cheers to a year of...
Read moreWe had been seeing the “ Social coming soon” at IFC M3M since a very long time and finally it opened up. So there we were to checkout out what’s this place got to offer. Ok so to begin with what is good about it- well the IFC outlet is huge , spread over 2 floors, it is at the heart of a densely populated cluster sector 65 and the golf course extension road. Currently vale parking is offered to people visiting IFC as the basement is bing put into shape, so you can reach and leave the rest to the staff to take care of. Now coming to the experience of dining here, we’ll you may think I am old school but trying to order menu after scanning the QR code is quite a task and takes a lot of time and may not be the best thing to do for not so tech savvy people and therefore I recommend that having a physical menu will really save them from the flack they may be getting. Now let’s talk about the food, some things are good and some are very bad, especially the chat items . We ordered old Delhi chat that was recommended to us by the staff there and it was very disappointing. The chat had a few elements that had gone rancid and the puri of the pani puri was also stale and soggy. When we raised this issue with the manager he said that it is because they are sourced from an external vendor, well what ever the case be, you can’t serve stale rancid stuff to your guests. The next item that disappointed me was the chicken malai tikka, in order to add a Smokey flavour to the tikka they had kept it in a peculiar utensil, which I doubt had not been washed even after multiple uses and as a result of that the tikka smelled and tasted awful just like how old oil tastes. Besides this the other dishes we ordered were quite nice, however the overall experience as a result of the expectation came crashing down. Hope they pay more attention to hygiene and take customer...
Read moreI've been to many Social outlets and this Social is situated in M3M IFC, Golf Course Extn. The location and atmosphere is fantastic as they have open sitting as well as in-house sitting available. Really good for big groups. We were a group of friends and we decided to sit outside. Being a chain of restaurants/cafe's one expects the quality and delivery of food to be the same, to my surprise whatever we ordered was served to us cold 🥶 and lacked precision. Which made us not to order much/full meal in this outlet and go to some other restaurant.
We ordered:
Ro start with we ordered French Fries: they were served cold, not at all crispy and crunchy.
Chilli Chicken dry: was again served warm and not piping hot. Chicken was not at all juicy from inside and crispy from outside.
Fresh Watermelon Juice: was actually fresh, but without any taste in it. Not at all refreshing.
Ferrero Rocher Shake: Was just froth and more whipped cream on top of it. Not at all worth it. It was like 20% Glass of Shake and 40% Froth and remaining 40% Whipped Cream..
Overall, while the ambiance of Social was inviting, the subpar food quality and presentation detracted from the overall dining experience.
