Grillardin — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Long post alert! Thank you Pawan Soni for such great deals for the group. We went to #Grillardin on Saturday and enjoyed every bite and hospitality. A beautiful cosy and open place, with good looking furniture, decor and lighting! Loved the plants inside and it had such a beautiful vibe!!

Their menu card had interesting dishes and we took a lil extra time to decide what we wanted to eat. While we were deciding the food we were served with a ‘welcome bite’- tart with tomatoes and corn, real good tasty bite!! Set the mood for the evening. 😇 Finally we ordered Gunpowder Prawns for starter which were charred and cooked to perfection! Well presented and super delicious! For the main course we ordered Chicken Moroccan kebabs and Lamb chops! Both the dishes came on a hot platter and with marinades and dips. We enjoyed basting the chicken and lamb in the spicy marinades and enjoyed them hot! Lamb came with kulchas, mashed potatoes , Beetroot raita and green chutney. Moroccan chicken kebabs were served with tortillas bread, sour cream, and garlic chutney. Both were absolutely delicious and soul satisfying.

For dessert we ordered Kunafa but I dint relish it much as the filling inside had a custardy texture and taste instead of cream n cheese. They served toffee and caramel sauce along with it which made it taste better. It had gulkand and pistachios and was served on beetle leaf. They brought complimentary chocolate bites too which I skipped. And we got complimentary vegan gelatos too😍!! Icing on the cake! They served not one but 3! Biscoff, cookies and cream and Jamun sorbet. Most interesting was Jamun sorbet! And I finished it all😃

Great job done by team Grillardin for bringing grilled and interesting version of dishes and combining them with Indian and Mediterranean breads and dips.

Service was good although they had the whole restaurant full yet they were prompt in getting the food and attending to us for every query and request. Polite and attentive staff.

Over all we really enjoyed our dinner and will go again to try out more dishes. After relishing such a sumptuous dinner and paying just the half was such an awesome deal 😍😍😍
