Read moreToday, I had the pleasure of visiting Anardana, a fine-dining restaurant at M3M IFC, Gurugram, and what an unforgettable experience it turned out to be! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with impeccable hospitality and a promise of something truly special. The first surprise was a palate cleanser – something I’d never experienced before, but it truly helped reset my taste buds, allowing me to savor the real flavors of each dish to the fullest.
To kick off the meal, I ordered the Anardana Special Mocktail. The presentation alone was a masterpiece, but the taste? Absolutely divine. It was a perfect balance of refreshing and flavorful, setting the tone for what was to come.
For the starters, I couldn't resist trying the Malai Broccoli, Mushroom, and Yam Kabab. The Malai Broccoli had the perfect crunch with just the right amount of creamy malai, elevating the dish to a whole new level. The Mushroom and Yam Kabab? Words can't even do it justice. Each bite was so soft, they practically melted in my mouth, leaving me craving more.
Now came the tough decision: The Dal Makhani was calling my name, but I pushed myself to try something new. I opted for Lehsuni Palak Paneer with Lachcha Parantha – and boy, was I surprised! The flavors were beyond incredible; the spinach was so rich, and the paneer so soft, paired with the crispy, flaky paratha. It was the perfect combination.
But the experience didn’t end there. Oh no, my friends! It was time for dessert, and Anardana went all out with a Ghevar Cheesecake. Imagine two of my favorite sweets combined in one dish—rich, creamy cheesecake with a crisp, honey-soaked ghevar base. I was a little skeptical at first, but once I took a bite, I was hooked. It was, without a doubt, one of the most unique and delicious desserts I’ve ever had.
The entire meal was a symphony of flavors, and I left with a full heart (and belly) and an eagerness to return. Anardana truly exceeded my expectations, offering an experience that's hard to beat. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to indulge in something...
Read moreMy first post on Gurgaon Foodie in the 7 years I have joined it .
Never felt so disillusioned more so as younger brother was being treated on one of his rare visits . So the newly launched Anardana at IFC Gurugram it was and … well the less said the better !!!! Brothers homecoming turned sour with such a damp weekend celebration at the overhyped ANARDANA . Had ordered simple Chinese chicken in garlic sauce, Chilli Chicken Noodles accompanied with Manchow Soup . For starters we had Buffalo fried wings … American style . The verdict …. Never again 🙄🥹🥲 Soup cold - had to be sent back , food too the same with chicken pieces leathery in the noodles . Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce and Manchow laced with corn starch and salty beyond the required . Onion rings and green chutney were served along with our desi Chinese which we were very confidently informed that it was the signature protocol of the restaurant… and was with all the dishes.
Sauce boats generally accompanying the Chinese had to be asked for and scraped for the sauces inside . The schezwan sauce asked for to improve the bland taste was plonked on the table after nearly 10 minutes minus a spoon to serve it with . Finally we gave up and continued to live through our dismal experience at the Anardana ,speaking about it only once the bill was paid so that we don’t come across as free loaders . The Cafe Manager was apprised then . All together a highly disappointing weekend evening never to be repeated again.
And now the pluses —- The Manger Mr. Promod — hospitable, courteous and welcoming as were the crew … all doing their jobs with sincerity. Unfortunately the kitchen team failed !! The final report …. Needs to prep up considerably and use good quality chicken . To their credit - the Corporate Chef made a personal call to me discuss and take the feed back somewhat redeeming the rued evening . AND for general knowledge —- please share if someone has eaten Chinese in brass ware …excuse my ignorance please . Bill attached and was paid on line by...
