Probably the worst food of my life in such a 'so called luxury dining'. It was a mockery. Food: Absolutely pathetic would be understating. We left 80% of the food. No taste just yuk. They were probably serving food from the buffet arranged in the next restuarant. Disgusting Lamb Keema, Rotten / green coloured chicken used in butter chicken, Too oily bhindi, Dal makhani was like tomato soup, breads were average. Service: Nobody knows what needs to be done that includes servers, chefs, restuarant manager, etc. Delayed food despite of empty restuarant. Breads served in 25+ mins. Servers were busy chit chatting rather than completing the pending orders and lacked coordination. Same information each one will ask. Ambience: A put off. Very loud classical live music. They don't understand the basic concept of ambience. Furniture and other items are fancy. Mostly people compromise if food is great. But what a high class terrible food and the chef says they never heard any complaint about their food ever. Never coming again and repeating...
Read moreSummary: The starters, both veg and non-vegetarian are pretty normal. They do not stand out as you would expect from a speciality restaurant but you won’t regret ordering it. The main course is abysmally low and disappointing. You can easily pass it. Esp at their price point. Would always recommend Bukhara any day over this place.
The ambience too pretty average. Analogy would be any normal Indian restaurant with better cutlery.
During my recent visit, had an extremely unpleasant experience. The main course was absolutely cold, the breads were stale and again appeared to be cooked long back. The chef was over-confident and felt that food gets cold as a result of being transferred/ served in plates / bowls. So no empathy or apology for not doing the job right. Thus I would not be shy to say that it is an unprofessional place to dine in. The taste too does not hit the palate and felt that they don’t know the way to operate/ run a restaurant.

Read moreI have had dinner on two consecutive nights at this place. Both of them a-ma-zing. To start with, they have a good Australian Shiraz (Laughing Magpie 2008) that, due to its spiciness, goes very with Indian cuisine. On my first day, I first had the chicken kebab follwed by chicken chettinad (a fiery hot chicken stew from the South). They had the politeness to recommend that I first taste the chettinad, and if it was too hot they would exchange them for free. I ended up mopping the dish with my naan. On my second day I had more Shiraz, together with a very good vegetable tandoori kebab (tomato, onion, potatoe, cauliflower), plus another chicken stew (forgot the name). In this case, the main course was considerably less hot, but still delicious. Exquisite service. Live sitar music. Price about INR 4,000 each night (1 person, 2 glasses of wine, starter and main). Yes, I know you can eat for less in India,...
