Wooden Deck, Haldwani I visited Wooden Deck, a cafe and restaurant in Haldwani, for lunch with my friends. Here are my thoughts on the place:
Location The cafe is located in Civil Lines, Bhotia Parao, near Thandi Sadak. It is easy to find and has ample parking space. It is also close to some of the popular attractions of Haldwani, such as Gaula Barrage, Naini Lake, and Kali Chaur.
Ambience The cafe has a spacious and cozy interior, with wooden furniture, colorful cushions, and wall paintings. The lighting is warm and soothing, and the music is soft and pleasant. The cafe also has a rooftop seating area that offers a nice view of the city and the hills. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing, perfect for hanging out with friends or family.
Food The cafe serves a variety of cuisines, such as Chinese, North Indian, Fast Food, Street Food, and Desserts. It also offers a range of beverages, such as coffee, tea, shakes, mocktails, and juices. The food is tasty, fresh, and well-presented. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Some of the dishes that I tried and liked were:
Aloo Tikki Burger: A crispy potato patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and sauce in a soft bun. It was filling and delicious. Chilli Paneer: Cubes of fried paneer tossed in a spicy and tangy sauce with onion and capsicum. It was flavorful and succulent. Schezwan Fried Rice: Rice cooked with schezwan sauce, vegetables, and scrambled egg. It was spicy and aromatic. Cold Coffee: A refreshing drink made with coffee, milk, ice cream, and chocolate syrup. It was smooth and creamy. Oreo Sundae: A decadent dessert made with vanilla ice cream, oreo cookies, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and nuts. It was rich and indulgent. Service The service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They took our orders quickly and served us with a smile. They also checked on us regularly and cleared our plates promptly. They made us feel welcome and comfortable.
Overall I had a great time at Wooden Deck. It is a lovely cafe that offers good food, good service, and good ambience. It is ideal for casual dining or snacking with friends or family. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a...
Read moreAs a frequent cafe and restaurant explorer tried out wooden deck first time during lunch time. This restaurent is located on Thandi Sadak infront of Nainital road , MBPG college. It's on first floor of newly built complex, on ground floor a supermarket store. From out side it's just another building but interior is beautifully planned and seating arrangement is also good. As my wife and kid wanted to try out dal rice , I was more interested in pasta , we ordered yellow dal , plane steam rice and mix Sauce pasta. Food quantity was good as well as food presentation, taste of dal was just like home cooked .Mix Sauce pasta quantity was sufficient for 2 to 3 person , taste was good but could have been better. Further after food we ordered masala tea which was good. Overall we enjoyed our lunch and tea. This restaurent have both vegitarian and non vegitarian option available, also they have a party hall on 2nd floor. Overall experience was good, will recomend to visit it...

The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was delicious. I especially (personally) appreciated DHAI KABAB. The service was excellent, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating, especially with the birthday celebration. Thank you for making our visit so special and memorable. We will definitely be back and will recommend The Wooden Deck to our friends and family!" NOTE - A special thanks to Mr. Peter Michael (very welcoming and a true gentleman), Mr. Gulshan (amazing chef) and Miss. Preeti (sweet girl) for looking after our guests professionally.
