Any mature people group need not even think of going to royal grill peninsula: We ten couples decided to meet after two decades and I decided Hotel peninsula. I made booking and now watch our experience: AT 8 PM FORST COUPLE REACHED. THEY OCCUPIED SEAT AND WAITED FOR OTHER MEMBERS. FINALLY WE ALL WERE ON OUR SEATS. NO ONE YES NO ONE ATTENDED EXCEPT KEEPING WATER BOTTLES AND GLASSES ON TABLES. WAITERS WERE ATTENDING OTHER TABLES AND THEY WERE🙄VERYYYYYYY BUSY. I WENT TO ATTENDENT AND REQUESTED. SO SNACKS CAME AND GRILL OPENED. That's all. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait I AGAIN WENT TO ATTENDENT AND ASKED FOR DRINKS. SURPRISINGLY HE ASKED WE DID NOT GET DRINKS????? NOW THIS WAS TOO MUCH. SO MADE A CALL TO MANAGER MR HEMANT. HE CAME AND REPRIMANDED ATTENDENDS. NOW WAIT....... Keep on waiting. WE WERE NEVER ATTENDED PROPERLY AS ALL TABLES WERE FULL AND ATTENDENTDS WERE STRUGGLING TO TAKE CARE. THE MUSIC WAS IN VERY HIGH VOLUME AND WHEN REQUESTED FOR LOW VOLUME THE MUSIC WAS STOPPED. THE YOUNGSTERS GP ON THE ADJACENT TABLE WERE SHOUTING LIKE ANY THINGS. ( means so many seats have been put in a small HALL and in such a scenario you are helpless). NOW WE GOT UP FOR DINNER. THERE WAS NO SOUP BOWLS AND ONL HANDLE WAS AVAILABLE FOR POURING VEG/NON VEG SOUP ON DINNER BUFFET NO RICE NO SALAD WERE AVAILABLE. WHEN WE PHONED HEMANT AGAIN HE DID NOT LIKE THE CALL AND SAID 35 PEOPLE HAVE TAKEN DINNER SO WAIT GOR FIVE MINUTES. THERE WAS NO CHAPATI AVAILABLE. ON REQUEST CHAPATIS WERE MADE

third class service. if you buy a coupon you are treated as if you are eating without paying anything. without coupons the rates are as high as barbecue nation but the service is nowhere near it. while some snacks were delivered at a gap of as late as 15 minutes, some snacks on the menu were not served at all. for unlimited softdrinks you will be served limca without gas. then that mocktail they say is just sugar and water. pathetic experience. spoiled an evening. The response to the Management: There was no bill, we had purchased 2 vouchers from nearby.in. We have visited this place thrice in the last 3 months, since the ownership has changed and the bar was closed. Everytime we are told your are about to get the liquor licence but everytime we are refused drinks. Once before also, we were six friends and we found a cockroach in the glass. The staff of the Grill sections knows about it and will be able to explain better, i am talking about the small glasses that you used to serve liquor, in that 16 glasses in a tray. You should teach them to oblige a customer, learn what courtesy is. It is not about money that gets wasted, it is about an evening. We recently visited to celebrate anniversary of our close relatives. It was a pre booked sit down dinner with assurance of best service. But unfortunately it was a most disappointing experience as the service was awfully messed up. Our hosts looked so upset and tense as no one appeared to take the order or offer even a papad even after waiting for more than one hour. Finally when the food did appear, they brought dishes that were not even ordered, brought 5 rice dishes when only two were ordered, brought non veg instead of veg. When we glanced around there were other unsatisfactory customers ready to leave without having food. I’ve given 2 stars just for two reasons- one, the place looks decent and nice after their renovation. Second, the paneer dish and mix veg actually tasted nice. Perhaps they were not able to manage as they recently re opened. Hope with another visit I could change my opinion on this particular visit.
