I visited this outlet seeing the ambience but the experience there was worst. Firstly they made us wait for a very long time after taking the order and then after waiting such long they served locals first who gave their order almost 15 mins after we had ordered. We reported the same expecting the same would not be repeated. Again we asked to refills bread and that time too even after giving the order first the same was served to the locals first whereas we were tourists visiting from delhi. Now coming to food, the food was worst of what i had, butter chicken was watery as if no cashew paste or butter was added. And the same was cooked without salt. On complaining the same multiples times to the owners, the same wa repeated and it was a sheer insult for me. On asking for the bill, they again insulted us by giving us 10 rs discount for facing all this which i paid them as i can't go through the insult again. This is not how the same is to be done with tourists. Seeing all this i left the food without eating it as could not go through more insult. Will request all the tourists not to visit this place and rather visit the restaurant or dhaba opposite to it as the food there is much better and not to visit this kaabil kitchen looking at its beauty from outside. Will never ever visit this place again and won't ask anyone known to me or people reading to...
Read moreOrdered chicken tikka and chicken malai tikka They use breast rather than thigh resulting in a tasteless, chewy and dry tikka, on top of it the tikkas were overcooked and it was a struggle to chew and even cut them while eating using a fork and knife, it was as if i was chewing on pieces of leather rather than Succulent tender pieces of well cooked meat. It was a disappointment as i expected more after all the reviews i read which makes me doubt the authenticity of the reviewers.
Update : tried their chicken shawarma today, don't know why they even call it a shawarma. A shawarma doesn't have minced meat but sliced and the bread used is generally pita or a thick bread so that the wrap doesn't get soggy they wrap the minced meat in a rumali roti, which leads to the bread...
Read moreI was looking out for a good place to eat at Mall Road, Shimla since it was my first trip and this place certainly caught my attention. I went in there and was amazed by the quality of food and the service provided by the staff over there. The owner is very humble, cordial by nature and very much customer centric in approach. If you happen to be in Shimla, must visit this place and do not miss out on the lipsmacking Shawarma...
