Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

Very disappointing experience with CCD, Food, Service and overall Atmosphere.

With a company that prides itself on an extremely dedicated and customer focus service. This particular CCD lacks in it All.

From incorrect charges, No remembrance of the change to be given back as well as providing food which was sub par. We saw it All.

Earlier in March 2025, we visited Dharamshala and while returning we saw CCD closer to Bus stop and Long behold we wanted some great coffee.. However, the experience has made me revisit my decision to ever visit any CCD again.

We ordered a special for which we were not told that the raw material for the original is not something that the store had. Our order was taken and we thought it would be the Drink which we ordered. It took more than 1/2 hr to get 2 drinks, I am not an impatient person, however when their are only 4 customer including us in the place. I do think 30 mins for 2 drinks is lot as we were served before the other 2 guests. We paid cash for the order and was told the change would be given in a couple of minutes, whereas we had to remind them of the change while we were exiting the place. When we asked for bill as well as went through the Bill, we realised that the name of the drink is different to what we ordered. After checking with the person on counter, we were told, they didnt had the raw material so they combined 2 different things for similar taste.

We even saw the other individuals return the drink they had ordered, without even drinking it.

I am unsure how it is being run. But it was a disappointment and does make me think to keep away from CCD forever.

Pricey and Worst service ever...

I had a Worse coffee Experience At Dharamshala Maximus Mall Cafe Coffee Day...

I told them that I wanted to have a cold coffee (the one's in the menu of course) but they told me that the "takeaway" glasses are only available and the official Cafe Cafe Coffee Day glasses are not available as they are broken....

Now :

This has been the same story past one year..

I don't know if their story is true or false but yes this is the truth that they are not serving in official Cafe Coffee Day glasses (the glass Made glasses)..

"Just for you to know i saw the official glasses at display.."

The staff there is highly uneducated and untrained... Showing heights of unprofessionalism..

I didn't wanted to have coffee in a plastic takeaway glass so i decided to have a toffee cuppa...

The coffee was brought to me in most unprofessional way and with highly unethical and with unprofessional presentation...

Now comes the interesting part :

Cafe coffe day application .. I told the lady to add the beans into the application(accrding to current offers from cafe coffee day and as per the bill i had to pay for the coffee)..

BUT the lady forgot to take the OTP and printed my bill without concerning me and without taking the OTP...

All i got was a sinical laugh from her making me furious...However i controlled my temper...

Don't visit Maximus Mall Cafe Coffee Day as you will have worst of worst coffee experience... AND YES YOU WILL REGRET SPENDING YOUR PRECIOUS MONEY OVER SUCH Poorly MADE...

Service wasn't up to the mark It lacked first of all speed Everything was delayed even when there was no rush at all . Secondly the orders were not being taken and given properly Saw someone exchanging there whole order too as it was wrongly made

Also the billing If some new item is added in your menu and you are promoting it add it to your billing list with the same name it's not a big thing to do . Because when you bill shows 3 different things and not that one thing you ordered And you are being told that mam it's the flavour that you order it's just we have named it fudge cake That doesn't make sense . It feels like fraud first of all Or you trying to tamper with the sales . If something is on menu it should be on bill simple . I don't want my 1 coffee to b billed as two different things That too without explanation. Because bill/ change money all are provided later

Also that too after asking The change should be given without asking We don't have to approach you again for the change . That's...
