The best thing about Café Coffee Drips is its first-floor location overlooking the Mall Road, Manali's main drag. The wide glass facade makes it a great place for people-watching over a warm cup of coffee or plate of pasta. The wood-lined walls and wooden chairs and tables along with warm lighting, makes it an inviting place, where one can linger on a wintry day. It has a German Bakery counter at the entrance, so if you're a dessert lover, like I, this is a very welcoming place indeed. I ordered a masala chai and an apple crumble. While the masala chai was exceptional, the apple crumble arrived cold. It certainly wasn't fresh, the apple filling inside looked and tasted more like meat. We also loved the ambience. The place is warm, laid back, and cozy. A very nice breather from the hustle and bustle of Mall Road. They have a great music selection — Eminem was playing when I visited. Also, there are some chess sets at the tables for visitors to play.
