Rated as one of the best espressos in HP and especially Mcloedganj , that's the claim however I wouldnt know. At present, and one cant be sure of how long , this particular coffee shop does not actually have a coffee machine, yes believe it. So my elixir for this morning is a black coffee..instant I imagine. The signs on the window show a praised past, 2013, 2014 trip advisor awards for espresso. 4 years on ..can they, or should they be still proudly displaying such feats?
Omelet was quite nice considering I'm not an omelette person, but it seems to be all that's on offer on the menu that contains eggs.
They also went out of their way to provide me with a single cigarette to have with my coffee. It was out of their way as I saw one staff member running down the street to buy one for me. Read moreEarlier today, one of our members, got verbally assaulted/attacked by a Sikh Man, at the Moonpeak Espresso Coffee Shop on Temple Road, McLeodganj. The attacker, obviously disturbed owner of the Video Game parlour called Generation 2K, next doors to Moonpeak, attacked the customer without warning and/or cause, on the front porch. What was alarming, and rather disappointing, was that the Moonpeak Staff simply ignored the incident, whilst the attacker continued his assault. This is unacceptable for a service establishment.
Please be warned for you safety, when visiting Moonpeak Espresso, and Generation 2K. We recommend avoiding them all together.

Wooden benches, tables, chairs and floors make this a very warm and inviting space. The bakery counter didn't have much the day I was there. I tried a post-lunch cappuccino. It was divine, full-bodied and flavourful. The best coffee in McLeodganj where cafés pass off watery milk with barely any coffee as the real thing. After the coffee, I lingered on feeling very satisfied and saw the beautiful setting sun from my table. The service is awesome. Very polite, helpful, supportive and unobtrusive. There's free wifi if you feel like using...
