๐ด๐ฝ๏ธ Calling all food adventurers and Kerala cuisine enthusiasts! ๐ถ๏ธโจ
Picture this: a quaint coffee house tucked away in the heart of Kerala, promising flavors that dance on your palate like a joyous celebration! ๐๐ But wait, before you dash off to indulge, let me share a recent escapade with my dear father and a friend, which I must say, was quite the rollercoaster ride of taste sensations!
Now, this little gem of a place has a reputation that precedes it - "Coffee House," they boldly declare! โ But alas, on this particular visit, it seems like the stars weren't aligning as they used to. Have you ever felt like you've walked into a time machine, only to find that it's malfunctioning? That's precisely how we felt when our beloved Masala Dosa made its grand entrance - cold as a cucumber! ๐ฅโ๏ธ
Oh, the horror! ๐ฑ But fear not, dear reader, for we are not ones to stir up a storm in a teacup (or a coffee cup, for that matter). With a polite nod to the waiter's insistence that our dosa was indeed "fresh," we decided to take the high road, chomp down our chilly dosas in silence, and bid adieu to this culinary escapade.
Now, don't get me wrong - we're not ones to rain on anyone's parade, especially when it comes to matters of the stomach. But here's the kicker: when you're riding on the coattails of a brand name like "Coffee House," you've got to keep up with the Joneses, or in this case, the dosas! ๐ฅ๐จ
So, dear foodie comrades, while the memories of past visits might still linger like a fragrant spice in the air, it's only fair to expect a tad more consistency and a pinch less chill in our beloved dosas. Here's hoping that the next time we venture into the cozy confines of "Coffee House," it'll be a piping hot affair that leaves our taste buds singing praises once...

The waiter took a long time to arrive, and the food was served even later. When we tasted the masala dosa, it seemed as if it had been cooked in the morning and merely reheated. Despite our lengthy wait, the coffee never arrived. It seemed there was no understanding that coffee should be served before the meal. The waiters were extremely slow. The money spent felt worthless as the quality was absent. The coffee was terrible; I couldn't discern what kind of powder was used, but it was certainly the worst I've ever had. I reminisced about the old days when the Indian Coffee House was in Thiruvalla, which was far superior to this...
ย ย ย Read moreQuality of food and options were not up to the mark. We had asked for two cups of tea around 10:30am. They said they don't serve tea at that time. I don't understand why, and I never experienced like this from any of the restaurants in whole India. Informed about this to the owner, and resulted with horrible hospitality and response from both the owner too. Owner was too obedient to his staff not to the customers. Both the waiter and owner were having zero percent knowledge about hospitality and they should learn what's service industry all about and what's hospitality...
