Thomson Food Mall. Like name like Fame. As a guest in town since least few many months, Me and my wife keep googling hangout places on our bike to find the best to satisfy taste buds. And we discovered this ambience slightly out of hulla ballooh of Town.

Location : Slightly on the edge of the City which is the best part of the Mall. No traffic , No Crowd of disturbance.

Parking : Enough for Huge Extravaganza. Ample.

Ambience: Automatic doors open and you enter with a smile induced face, eyes leasing to the live counters of sandwich and pastry and cakes on its adjacent . Ground floor is glass house restaurant with a view extending to open spaces with first floor being a party floor for small and big gathering. Well lit and AC keeps low and cool to soothing comfort. Clean and Hygiene.

Hospitality: As the People of Thiruvalla and their sweet slang and flow of mother tongue, so is the welcome. Thani Naadan. Localites will always feel at home .

Cuisine And Menu: Well, Last but not the Least. The review is after my third visit to the place. And Everytime we order a different dish or drink. And all the time Two factor remain Common and constant - The Quality and Taste. Fresh and Hot. You will never have a dull moment while tasting and gulping. Name a few The Grill platter , Kerala Porotta,Dragon Chicken in Chinese menu, passion fruit drinks and pastries. The Arabic fish grill also stands apart from all. The mayonnaise looks like ice cream thick and white. And taste yummilicous. In short , order anything and everything the delicacy comes in a matter of time and you leave the place as you enter. With a Smile.

Economy: Quality comes at a price. But it will never make a hole in your pocket if you intend a family outing with kids and olds who always want a calm sober and serene space to make it a well spent Evening .

After our disastrous dining experience at another restaurant, we decided to head to Thomson food mall. We were a a group of 4 and we had ordered a half alfaham to share, brown cow (Dessert) and a special fruit salad. The charcoal chicken (alfaham) was delicious however a tad too zesty for our liking. The desserts (brown cow and special fruit salad) were a disaster!!!

We then ordered the jelebis from the counter and that was good . The ambience was good but they could surely work on cleanliness as the table we were sitting at had a dead fly and a pile of water on the floor and Noone even bothered to clean. The place as you enter has a distinctive smell and the place is in desperate need of some cleaning up.

They do have a restaurant upstairs and it was a lot better in terms up keeping and had a good feel to it. They've got family rooms and a party Centre as well to host small gatherings. This is surely something that I would recommend but again it's what you see first when you enter the place that creates the impression.

The bathrooms were disgusting and definitely not women and children friendly and again cleanliness is the issue.
