COMESUM, Food Track, Howrah Stn New Complex — Restaurant in Howrah

CHEATERS: The 22893 was almost 6 hrs late. Arrived HWH at about 0100 hrs. I had my family (Sr. Citizen, child etc.) with me. Then, I ordered 2 simple rice and egg curry to parcel from COMÉSUM to have it when we'd reach home, as it was almost the end of the night. We were so tired. But to my utter surprise and anger and frustration, they GAVE US VEG RICE. WHEN I opened the package at my home I was shocked. Bloody cheaters.... And they could not have mistaken. As I also personally mentioned the egg rice while handing over the counter part of the bill to the cook (It is the system there). It was also mentioned there in the counterpart. I PAID FOR THE SAME TOO. VERY VERY BAD SERVICE. AND also I think they figured it that 'these people are tired, drowsy, frustrated as the train was so late, they'd not look into the package while receiving as they were leaving, and probably going far. So, they'd not come back for any complaints.'

Bit high priced but food is okayish! The food court is clean, and has a wide variety of foods, starting from snacks to thalis, biryanis, south Indian foods. I had a non veg thali there. I greatly feel that the place is overpeiced. If you have money, then it's okay, but would be high priced for a normal middle class earning person. The thali was nice, food quality was good. I was given roti, rice, chola sabzi, dal, some other seasonal sabzi, chicken, raita, papad and rasgulla. The veg foods were very nice and fresh. But the chicken had such a rotten, terrible smell, as if it had become putrefied. I tried but couldnot eat it. I didnot complain because I was running late for my train. Anyways, I would prefer taking some juice neaeby or opt for KFC or some other food outlet, instead...

We had ordered 4 plates of masala Dosas. Little did we know, what was coming was something so Horribly Pathetic. The dosas were no where close to how a dosa should be...we paid around 400 rupees for 4 dosas here to find out that the items that came are no where close to anything like dosa.. Curries and chatni was also not great. Dosa batter was not prepared as per the process.. Probably the cook is a beginner in dosa making atleast, if not cooking itself.

I would recommend not to ever try having a dosa here, unless u want to taste world's worst dosa.

Personally I have never tasted such a pathetic dosa in whole of India.

Also dosa was not crispy even after reqursting for it. Oh, wait.. The dosa these people prepare can't be crispy as the dosa...
