My recent visit to 7 Sisters Northeast Cafe and Restaurant left me greatly disappointed, as it failed to meet even the most basic expectations. From the tasteless food to the horrible ambiance, along with the unfriendly staff and lack of proper directions, this dining experience was far from satisfactory.
First and foremost, the food at 7 Sisters Northeast Cafe and Restaurant was utterly flavorless. The dishes lacked any distinctive taste or authenticity that one would expect from a restaurant specializing in Northeastern cuisine. It was evident that little effort had been put into the preparation and seasoning of the food, resulting in a bland and uninspiring meal. The lack of flavor greatly diminished the overall dining experience.
Adding to the disappointment was the dismal ambiance of the restaurant. The interior was poorly decorated, with outdated and worn-out furniture. The overall atmosphere was dull and uninviting, failing to create a pleasant dining environment. It was clear that little attention was given to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
The behavior of the staff further contributed to the negative experience. The employees displayed a mean and unprofessional attitude, showing little interest in providing satisfactory service. Their lack of friendliness and unwillingness to assist or address concerns left a sour taste in my mouth. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for the staff at 7 Sisters Northeast Cafe and Restaurant.
To make matters worse, finding the restaurant was a challenge in itself. The lack of proper directions and signage made it difficult to locate the establishment, causing unnecessary frustration and inconvenience. This lack of attention to providing clear directions added to the overall disappointment and inconvenience of the dining experience.
Overall, my experience at 7 Sisters Northeast Cafe and Restaurant was thoroughly disappointing. The lack of taste in the food, coupled with the terrible ambiance, mean staff, and absence of proper directions, made for a regrettable visit. I would strongly advise seeking alternative dining options that prioritize quality, flavor, and customer satisfaction, as 7 Sisters Northeast Cafe and Restaurant fails to deliver on these...

Veg Tom Kha Soup This soup was a revelation! A tantalizing blend of exotic ingredients, the Veg Tom Kha Soup was an aromatic medley that delighted our taste buds. It features creamy coconut milk infused with lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves, harmoniously blended with mushrooms, baby corn, and other fresh vegetables. The subtle heat from Thai chilies perfectly balanced the citrusy zest and the rich, creamy texture. Absolutely amazing and a must-try!
Honey Chilly Potato The Honey Chilly Potato was a delightful fusion of sweet and spicy. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these golden potato fingers were coated with a glossy, sticky sauce that packed a punch of flavors. The sweetness of honey mingled with the fiery kick of chili made every bite an explosion of taste.
Thai Basil Chilly Paneer The Thai Basil Chilly Paneer was an adventurous dish that pushed our spice limits but left us craving more. The paneer was cooked to perfection, with a silky texture that absorbed the intense flavors of basil and chili. Though it was a bit too spicy for our usual preference, the bold flavors were irresistible. A fiery delight for spice lovers!
Cheese Phaley A true comfort food, the Cheese Phaley was an instant hit with my son. These crispy, golden pastries filled with gooey, melted cheese were pure joy. Each bite was a cheesy, savory treat that left us feeling warm and satisfied.
Overall Experience Our experience at 7 Sisters in Banjara Hills was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish offered a unique and exciting flavor journey, from the rich and creamy Veg Tom Kha Soup to the spicy thrill of the Thai Basil Chilly Paneer. The Honey Chilly Potato and Cheese Phaley were delightful additions that catered to both adventurous and comfort food cravings. Highly recommend visiting this culinary gem for a vibrant and memorable...
Read moreI visited Hyderabad after five years since moving out of the country, and this was the place my family chose to take me.
The ambiance was cool and cozy, with vibes reminiscent of a Chinese restaurant—low-end roofing and simple decorations. The staff greeted us warmly and promptly seated us, as we had already booked our table through Zomato.
We ordered: Hot and Sour Chicken Soup, Fried Mushrooms Starter, Veg Momos, Veg Chow Mein, and Paneer Chilli.
Both the momos and fried mushrooms were amazing, served with delicious dips. I’d definitely order them again on my next visit.
The Hot and Sour Chicken Soup had a generous quantity, but there were too many vegetables, which could have been reduced. The chicken pieces were dry, likely from being used to make stock, as they were tough and in large chunks.
The noodles were decent, but the soy sauce was excessive, which affected the overall taste. Reducing it would have made the dish much better.
The Paneer Chilli was served in a black gravy and tasted extremely sour and strange—nothing like a typical chilli paneer. It seemed like an entire bottle of soy sauce had been spilled into it. After we raised our concern, the staff replaced it with a new dish, which tasted much better. However, it arrived 15 minutes later, by which time we had already finished eating, so we got it packed to go.
Overall, it was an average experience, mainly due to the soy sauce overload and the paneer issue. I’ll give this place another chance soon—it might have just been an off day, as the starters were enjoyable, but the main course didn’t quite...
