"Very Economical, Pan-Asian Cuisine, Really Friendly Staff, and Small But Cozy Ambience."
Food: We tried Korean Hot Pepper Chicken, Korean Corn Dogs, Shapta with Tingmo, Hibacci Miso Chicken Teriyaki, Salmon Steak, Edamame, Naruto Maki Ramen, Vietnamese Paper Rolls, Katsu Curry, Cranberry Matcha Bubble Tea.
Spicy Naruto Maki Ramen was pretty good. The fish cakes (Narutomaki) have quite a subtle flavour with umami flavours from fish and other sea products. The broth was spicy and wholesome.
Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls were brilliant and very fresh. The sweet dip that comes with it is quite enjoyable by itself.
Katsu Curry with Jasmine Rice: This was surprisingly one of my favourites here. This Japanese golden curry had interesting flavours and felt quite complex. It was a bit sweet, savoury, and had some umami notes as well. Can definitely recommend this dish.
Korean Hot Pepper Chicken was fine but didn't impress me as much. The chicken felt too bland and the meat's texture seemed a bit weird to me. Maybe we could have instead gone for the Korean Fried Chicken.
Shapta with Tingmo: Tingmo, a soft and airy bread, was quite good but Shapta (chicken) felt quite similar to Korean Hot Pepper Chicken.
Edamame (immature soybeans) was pretty good along with butter and garlic sauce. Just that it is a bit difficult to eat as they come with the pods.
Korean Corn Dogs are good, though I would have preferred more of sausage and less of cheese in them.
Hibacci Miso Chicken Teriyaki was delectable, the teriyaki sauce was sweet and complex.
Salmon Steak was not at all good on that day. It had a very strong fishy smell/taste that I had never experienced with salmon before. Made the entire dish quite bitter and a bit pungent.
Ambience: It's quite a small place but still gives a cozy vibe. Can get a bit congested at times.
Service: Very friendly staff, helpful and pleasant in behaviour. They try to make up for the mistakes in food if any.
Overall, a relatively pocket-friendly pan-Asian restaurant with...

I visited along with my sister who suggested that we try this place
Reservations are highly recommended and I would suggest you to book tables outdoors (on terrace) for Dinner and tables beside the kitchen for Lunch
The service is toooo slow which can easily be improved through some small software additions and if there's a single point of contact for the entire floor like a floor manager.
Coming to the tastiest part, we ordered Khow Suey - Chicken (KS-C), Chicken Soup Momos (CSM) and Half & Half Corn Dog (HHCD)
HHCD - If you're 2 people, order ONLY 2 pcs. It was good but I felt a bit bland while eating it except for the sauces that added some taste to it. This came to our table after 20mins of placing the order.
CSM - 6 momos + one of the best soups that I had in Hyderabad. The momos were super tasty. I would highly recommend this dish as a starter for everyone who loves momos. This arrived after almost 30mins of placing the order and it was not hot. So another 10mins went into reheating this
KS-C - The main attractions of this place. This dish is made of many ingredients and there's a 5 minute process that you'll enjoy while the waiter does that in front of you. This is one of the tastiest and unique dish that I had in Hyderabad. It arrived after an hour of placing the order and it should be the last and final dish that you should be having at this place.
Overal experience was great except for the time taken to get the order on your table.
All the staff were easily approachable, kind and explaining patiently about every item on the menu.
The prices are very reasonable for the food that we have. I was shocked looking at the bill.
Would definitely visit it again. Hopeful to see some improvement in...
Read moreIn July, we visited Hibacci, and I must say, this place is a hidden gem in terms of affordability without compromising on taste, quality, or quantity. It's refreshing to find a restaurant where you get more than your money's worth in every dish.
We ordered several items, including Chicken Jhol Momos, Spicy Naruto Making Ramen, Chicken Teriyaki Bao, Korean Style Corn Dog, and Mixed Veg Dimsums. Each dish had something unique to offer.
The Chicken Jhol Momos were outstanding, bursting with flavor and served in generous portions. These were definitely the highlight for me—the taste was impeccable, and the quality was top-notch. The Naruto Ramen was another good choice, especially for its unique and eye-catching presentation. It was a treat both visually and in terms of flavor. The Chicken Teriyaki Bao, while decent, didn't quite hit the mark for me compared to the other dishes. The Korean Style Corn Dog was enjoyable, offering a nice balance of sweetness and savory flavors. The Mixed Veg Dimsums were also very good, bringing a unique twist to the traditional dumpling experience.
Overall, the Chicken Jhol Momos were my personal favorite from the menu. The ambience at Hibacci is pleasant, though the seating capacity is limited, which might result in a wait during peak hours. However, the wait is worth it, considering the excellent value for money.
Having tried similar cuisine at various places in Hyderabad, Hibacci stands out not just for its pricing but also for its satisfying portions and great taste. For anyone looking for a delightful North East and Japanese fusion food experience without breaking the bank, Hibacci is by far the best restaurant I’ve come across in this segment. Personally I liked this place and the...
