I visited this place to check which place is better barbeque nation or barbeque pride, since they both are based on the same concept, grill on table....here's my experience:
Popularity: both offers reservation via laptop/mobile, but chances to get a table in barbeque nation is remote (especially on weekends) but I was lucky to get a table at barbeque pride despite showing up without a reservation (BN:1/BO:0)
Server/staff: You are introduced to your server who will assist you with almost everything. Both places are equally good at it.(BN:2/BO:1)
Starters/table top grill: Barbeque nation is going great just by the brand name but Barbeque pride has tasty starters. (BN:2/BO:2)
Buffet: Barbeque nation is left way behind in this category as Barbeque pride has great menu for kids that offered pizzas, pastas etc...my kids had a blast today. Also, the food menu aas great and the food was tasty, I enjoyed the food a lot. (BN:2/BO:3)
Chef: Barbeque nation has been juggling their chef from last 4 to months, I've seen them change a couple of them which has affected their food quality. Barbeque pride's chef is good because on being told about an issue with fried rice he readily made fresh one for us and the new one was tasty.(BN:2/BO:4)
Celebration: both offers complimentary cakes for the celebration but barbeque pride's staff was energetic and had wide smiles when they were singing.(BN:2/BO:5)
Overall, a must go place to...
Read moreBeen here for a sunday lunch buffet, we dropped in by 12:45 PM and to our surprise, we were the first to enter and whole restaurant was deserted. People started coming in and it was almost full in half an hour. There are a total of 6 non veg starters, chicken wings, barbecue chicken, amritsari fish, sliced fish, prawns, mutton out of which chicken wings, amritsari fish and prawns were best, rest of the items are good. In veg starters, crispy corn stands on top followed by cheesy potato, sliced pineapple with sauce. All of them were very yummy. Ambiance was good, but very congested to walk around. Main course spread was good with lots of rice varieties including chicken and mutton biryani, tamarind rice, steamed rice etc. Long list of gravies as well that contains several chicken, fish, egg, paneer, dal and many more that can be combined with naans and rotis that are served on to table. Live counter offers veg or non veg pizza and few out of the box dishes like rabbit, octopus, emu besides pani puri.
Salads were unique in combination and are must try. Desserts contained mostly pastries and cheese cakes, along with fresh cut fruits and plain flavoured ice creams, not to forget delicious gulab jamun and mouth watering carrot halwa. A tip for fellow foodies is not to get full only with starters as there are lots of main course options. Service is better and the staff...
