The bhature here were not the usual soft and fluffy kind. Instead, they were made thicker, with a paneer filling inside. While the idea of stuffing paneer sounded interesting, the actual quantity of filling was quite less, so it didn’t really add much to the overall flavor. The thickness also made them feel heavy, lacking the light crispness that you’d normally enjoy in a traditional bhatura.

The chole had a decent consistency but leaned towards tanginess, which overpowered the expected depth of spices. While not entirely bad, the flavor profile felt incomplete and didn’t bring that comforting, spiced richness that makes chole stand out.

Overall, the combination was okayish but didn’t match up to expectations. The paneer-stuffed bhature felt more like an experiment than a satisfying twist, and the chole didn’t quite carry the dish through.
