CHICKPET DONNE BIRYANI, SR NAGAR — Restaurant in Hyderabad

After listening to soo many reviews about this place, atlast happened to visit this place at Sr nagar.

I would definitely say that their ambiance is very mediocre and has limited seating too. Typically you can expect it to be a cafe selling biryani, Where you might suddenly have food on your table with some stranger person if the chair is vacant.

We actually wanted to taste their mutton but couldn't do the same as they were out of stock.

Leaving their ambiance apart, their food was super tasty and we just loved all the items that we ordered from them.

$ Guntur chicken $ Gunter chicken making it an added gravy to have with their biryanis and the gravy was too good and was served with bones.

We loved their kshathriya biryani, the peices were very delicious and indeed all the rice served was the same only the meat was changed from item to item. Drumstick biryanis was served with one drumstick which was deep fried and it was same with lollipop biryani serving around 3-4 pieces.

Do try out on weekdays as you might indulge in waiting for atleast 30 min for your table.

So yesterday, one more place was ticked off my list - Chickpet Donne Biryani!

The place is with people swarming outside. When asked for a table for 2, we were told that the wait time would be around 30 mins or After about 25 mins, we inquired again and were told to share a table with 2 other people, who were already eating 🙄. It’s a small place, with a view of the kitchen. No ambience to speak of but a few pictures of Tollywood celebrities and politicians oh the walls, made it interesting. I noticed that the rice is the same for all the variants and it’s only the mutton, chicken or the other stuff, that’s added on top of the rice, depending on the order. The rice isn’t the basmati rice but the “Chitti Muthayalu”came plonked with 3 small pieces of chicken on the bone! The rice was very spicy 🌶 🥵. I will not call this a traditional biryani but a rice cooked chicken and mutton definitely a try for different...

Wat Food..... Seriously.. Each Item Has It's Own Taste Texture Character N Distinctiveness...

Tried All Combos, Each Has It's Place Based On Day Of The Week..& The Hungry Or Greed Or Gluttony Quotient Of The Hour.

The Restaurant Is Jam Packed & Will Have To Wait At Least For 15 To 30 Mins, Be It Dine In Or Take Away

The Mutton Combo Is Never For Grabs Given The Exclusive Items Its Boasts Off...I Ordered The Combos Items Individually Which Are A Carnivorous Delight... All Taste So Different & Decant Given Its Local Or Desi Or As They Say Nati Spices...

I Am Told All The Main ingredients Are Sent By The Parent Company Which Is Based Off Bangalore.. And They Serve A Minimum Of 250 & Max Of 500+ Customers A Day...
