Chilly's Restaurant — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Finally a decent vegetarian menu! I suppose it takes a vegetarian restaurant to get a veg menu right. I've been meaning to go to this restaurant since a while and was glad to see it deliver to my expectations.

Chilly's is a vegetarian restaurant that's been around since 2005 and is located very close to Paradise. The restaurant is in collaboration with a Hotel in the same building. I suppose because of this the restaurant is well maintained and looks tidy.

I went with few friends and we decided ordering the North Indian thalis would be a good idea to judge the food at Chilly's, especially considering most reviews of this place raved about the delicious Thalis here. We also ordered a Salt and Pepper mushroom as a starter on the suggestion of the waiter.

The food arrived in time, and the mushroom starter was actually delicious, it was a good suggestion. The thalis came after which had an assortment of curries/rice along with tandoori rotis. You have an option for tandoori rotis or Naans for your Thali. I went with the roti and was glad I did because the roti seemed to have a healthy mix of atta instead of pale looking maida roti you get elsewhere.

The curries were decent, the gulab jamun wasn't sugar loaded and the dal was perfect. The portion size is a bit on the higher side and I had a tough time completing it.

All in all, a good restaurant and I'll visit again to try out other options...

Everything about this restaurant is just average, the ambience, the food and the cost.

I was at the Sunday buffet, the items weren't many but sufficient for the price. They added a new item in the middle of the buffet which isn't a good thing.

Coming to taste it was just average and most items were improperly seasoned, some had too much salt, some didn't. The kulcha were too hard and seemed more like papad.

Service was also poor, when asked to bring finger bowls, not once but 5 times no got it and the washbasins were in was washrooms only and they smelt really bad.

I suggest some other places like Bikarnerwala if you are looking for pure veg...

This is an old and famous vegetarian legend of secunderabad. This restaurant is located in Hotel Raj Classic Inn.We have been having food here since almost more than 10 years now. I went for lunch on weekday. Total bill cost was 1021rs.
