Whilst the whole F & B is trying to figure out how to make the customer experience much better and get into their top list, there are some brands that try to strike a balance between unique customer experience along with thinking outside the box on creating it. Echoes Living Room, a Hyderabad-based restaurant has gone one step further. In order to initiate a healthy conversation, the restaurant is run by staff who are differently abled. But hold on to that thought as after dining here, I should say the fact of being served by our specially-abled staffers, you seldom find a difference whatsoever.
Neatly tucked in Kavuri hills, this cute little cafe impresses you as you enter, that it gives a very positive vibe that you feel you are going to have some good time. The procedure to order, interact with their staff are all self-explanatory and you are not lost for sure. As we got in, it just took minutes to get seated and ordering items was also a breeze. We started with some recommended signature dishes
BEYOND YOUR WILDEST CHOCOLATE BROWNIE DREAMS - Not sure of their thing for lengthy names but the shake spoke. It was not as thick I expected it to be but tasted refreshing to start with (5/5)
DRAGON CHEESE SPRING ROLLES w/ ECHOES CHEESE MELT DIP - Nice crispy rolls with that guilty cheese melt was a perfect start. Nicely flavored as well (4/5)
LOADED FIERY FRIES WITH SHREDDED CHICKEN - Super crispy fries with some spicy seasonings along with shredded chicken along with red chilies and jalapenos and olives. This was definitely flavor bomb and my top pick of the day (5/5)
TANDOORI CHICKEN MOMOS - You cannot just mock making good momos. Either you do or don't. This one was good considering it had two variants but still impressed me in the way chicken was good and nice overall heat from the momos and the sauces (5/5)
CHILLED CHUNKY BROWNIE COLD COFFEE - Simple coffee blend with brownie chunks. Served the purpose and gave the chill effects (5/5)
GINGER BEER MOJITO - An interesting mocktail but the generous ginger shreds made it fresh and different (4/5)
SLOW WESTERN FRIED CHICKEN BURGER - An American classic to be done and I should say they did a good job on the portion size, generous portion on the chicken patty, and nice balance of sauces and the bun. The thick batter over the chicken was the only thing for me but if you get past that, it's a delicious one for sure (4/5)
GRILLED FISH IN LEMON BUTTER SAUCE - A dish that I always crave to get a luscious bite on a fresh fish. This one was simple, sufficient, and did the job. Though the cook on the fish could have been a minute or so less, the overall combination of herbed rice, sauteed vegetables, the cream sauce, and the fish just worked. I wished I had more of this and definitely worth the price (5/5)
BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE - While the food graph in terms of flavors and quality was all up there, he came the one and only disappointment in the form of dessert. Being outsourced, this one definitely tasted artificial from the get-go. Excessive use of gelatin made it not so interesting affair and to undermine it, a heavy dose of blueberry jam which didn't do a great job either. Feedback was given and well taken and I hope they can try to do it in-house to match the other dishes which were just delicious.
The friendly staff was prompt on orders or anything that you need them for. The cue cards in the table ensure your choices are easily communicated and well taken. Prompt service without any delay due to the nature of impairment doesn't stand in between your dining experience.
Overall, a well-thought-through process, neatly executed training and management strategy, a well-matured kitchen and service staff, and a well-maintained spot as such. Nothing was deeply wrong and I hope so in the future as well.
I would definitely go there for some of these delicious dishes I tried out. Give it a try and I'm sure definitely you will...

We were invited for a bloggers session and the review of the restaurant is as follows:
Momos: The’ Tandoori Momos’ had tantalising charred momos marinated in indian spices stuffed with juicy minced chicken that are sure to make you drool. The ‘Crunchy Momos’ went well with the homemade echo cheese melt and was delectable.
Starters: The ‘Hummus Pitta’ with buttered vegetables lacked the key levantine flavours and could be improved upon. The ‘Dragon Cheese Spring Rolls’ were crunchy on the top with shredded veggies wrapped in a cheese and deep fried. The ‘Classic Chicken Strips’ were surprisingly juicy and tender inside.
Los Nachos: The ’Loaded dip nachos’ had crispy baked nachos loaded with shredded veggies, olives , cheddar cheese and cherry tomatoes with crispy chicken.
Fries: The ’Loaded Fiery Fries’ were extremely crunchy and was loaded with veggies, cheese and crispy fried chicken.
Big Fat Burger: The ‘Slow Western Fried Chicken’ was extremely flavourful. The ‘Indian Double Decker’ had mixed vegetable patty in a warm bun, loaded with cheese. The ‘Classic American Minced Chicken’ was equally delectable.
All day Meals: The ’Grilled Fish’ had pan fried basa fish drizzled with lemon butter sauce, served alongside aromatic rice and buttered vegetables. The ‘Cream Chicken Cheese Steak’ had pan grilled chicken breast served over creamy mashed potatoes and aromatic rice and buttered vegetables. The ‘Everything Asian’ had chicken fried rice served alongside chicken lollypop tossed in oriental sauce.
Pasta & Baked Pasta: The ‘Pink is the warmest colour’ had penne in marinara sauce served alongside potato wedges, garlic bread and crumb fried chicken breasts. The ‘Baked Lasagna’ was a little too runny for my taste.
Everyday Sundae: The ‘Fruit Cuddle’ had freshly cut fruits, red velvet cake topped with fresh cream and other goodies. The ‘Sizzling Brownie’ had a warm gooey brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. . Read moreI ordered from this place on swiggy because I know their food is amazing despite the long wait time . I ordered pasta, fish and chips and an add on of ECM sauce (the whole reason for me ordering). The Swiggy person delivered a sealed package with the bill and items. But the garlic bread, the ECM sauce that I paid extra amount for and other accompaniments for fish and chips, tomato and basil for pasta were missing. (Adding thr pictures from when I ate at the restaurant and what got delivered to me) I reached out to the swiggy customer care and they connected me to the restaurant. Some manager person from the restaurant on call was insisting that they gave all these, the sauce that i paid for and other accompaniments were sent but magically missing from my order. They were rudely insisting in telugu that they sent it, despite attaching the bill and the pictures. Then they randomly dropped off the call as swiggy customer care executive asked them to speak in english. The executive called them once again and this time the head chef spoke, again insisting that he himself fried the bread that was never delivered to me. Atleast this person was respectful and sent a number to share location with so that they can send a replacement through a rapido order and not via swiggy. However I did not go with this option because i felt unsafe getting food from a third party option than the platform I ordered on and went with taking the refund.
But the way they handled the situation is absolutely terrible, especially the first person. They take so much amount and have the audacity to not take accountability and blame the customer in return. And the quality of the food that is served in the restaurant and through swiggy is so different and so pathetic. Take this as...
