As we are in search of some new cafe in the surroundings of himayath nagar we found this cafe by name GHRELIN beside dmart mall.

Ambience -

Ghrelin cafe has some really cool ambience and this place is can easily accomodate 15-20 people at once.The place is simple and the theme is all about the baking desserts like cakes,macaroons,donuts and many more.

There are some photographs of the desserts and which are really cute and u will love.They even have some real blueprints of cakes which u can see and they even make customized cakes and cupcakes.

Food -

This is the most favorite part for most of us and yes this place really serves some tasty and amazing food which are most favorite of children and adults too.

So coming to the main part we divided the food which we had into three parts. 1.Savouries 2.Desserts 3.Drinks

1.Savouries -

Spinach and corn grilled sandwich -

This spinach and corn grilled sandwich is served in the hot dog bun which is stuffed with spinach and corn mixture.They served the sandwich along with some fries.

The sandwiches in this place are served with hot dog buns rather than sandwich bread.

Alfredo chicken penne pasta -

Alfredo chicken pasta is one of the best pasta which we ever had and this was perfectly baked.

Aglio olio pasta -

Aglio olio is the spagetti pasta which we ordered in chicken and it was good.

Peri peri vegetable pizza -

This vegetable pizza has thin crust of the pizza base and is topped with some good amount of cheese and veggies in equal quantity.One of the best pizza place we had ever tried.

BBQ chicken and chilli pizza -

This is a non-veg pizza which is very thin in crust and has some good chunks of chicken which is tossed in bbq sauce and some good amount of chillies green and red.

Cheesy fries -

The french fries are deep fried and are tossed with some yummy and juicy cheese which is spread on the fries.

Spinach feta finger rolls -

These are the rolls which are similar to spring rolls but are filled with different filling.The rolls have spinach as major filling and this is some what different type of rolls which we had and we liked this combo.

Farmers style chicken breakfast -

Farmers style of chicken breakfast which had fluffy omlet along with some chicken nuggets as well as toasted garlic bread and roasted tomato.

French toast with nutella -

French toast with nutella is something which u should definetly try if u visit this place.

Chicken wings with bbq sauce-

Chicken wings which are cooked and later deep fried with some crispy bread crumbs to make them crispy and then served with bbq sauce.

This place really serves some amazing cheesecakes and macaroons.Each and every cheesecake is very tasty and is not less than a perfect dessert.

3.Drinks -

Hibiscus green tea

Lemon ice tea

Berry mojito

We had two types of drinks which are cool and hot. I loved the berry mojito among the mojitos and choco oreo shake and lemon ice tea.

Hibiscus green tea is something which a tea lover should try.

Ghrelin Cafe & patisserie, well when I googled about ghrelin I got to know that ghrelin is a 'hunger harmone' , it signals your brain to eat and now you know why we are hungry. . Coming to the place ghrelin cafe & patisserie is located in busy streets of Himayat Nagar with a decent ambience, as we enter the cafe we get the glance of all the desserts and it's an eye-candy for all people with a sweet tooth. . Lets start with the food they have a huge menu for a cafe and patisserie and some really good option. . Started with some fried cheese and chicken burger, I guess it could be improved, then tried their chicken wings in BBQ sauce, semolina crushed fish and chips both were good and fish and chips were delicious specially when we eat it sizzling hot, . Also tried their Mojitos there are different types of Mojitos,from mint , orange and mango I loved the mango mojito. . Moving to the Italian menu tried their pastas and pizza and they really experimented with this part. But then again they can improve this too tried basil pesto, spiced chicken minced pasta,pomodoro, Alfredo, aglio olio, well loved the chicken minced pasta that the rest. . Coming to the pizzas tried roast chicken with onion and bell pepper,spinach and mushroom pizza which were ok. . Fried egg and spinach sandwich was soo good and their classic French toast with Nutella is amazing. P.s i'm a Nutella lover, so this is 5/5 . Moving to the desserts sorry to say that I ended up eating more desserts than the food because their desserts are love. They are soo good and many varients to try, starting with their red velvet chocolate pastry, tiramisu, Nutella choco cheese cake, all were good but Nutella was my favourite. . Then tried some tarts , peanut butter tart, caramel cheese tart, lemon tart all were really good so can't specify one. . Again moving to the cheese cakes tried raspberry cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake , Oreo cheese cake, carrot cream cheese cake all were good but the layers of the carrot cheese were really eye catching also the cute carrot presentation. . Not an eye catcher but the best is japanese cheese cake, it was really good, thank you for the staff for suggesting me this. Their service is really good. . Not to forget their cute cupcakes and brownies, loved the Ferro Rocher brownie. The taste was up to mark and the best brownie we can say. . Tried the berry Iced tea, hazelnut cappuccino and hot chocolate well hot chocolate with 2 packets of sugar and it's truly a hug from inside. This was really good. . Ghrelin is a new patisserie in town which is all set to serve the customers who live in heart of the city. It is such a great feeling to have you in the area of himayatnagar. Because,there are only few places to have desserts in himayatnagar & to chill. After Tasting your items,I felt that you are gonna make a huge buzz in this area and I am sure you guys will do great in your business.

For those who don't know what ghrelin means....it means a harmone in our human body which produces appetite. This is such a thoughtful name right??

Guys, I'm more of a dessert person & i have a special space in my heart for desserts all the time. They have got tarts,cheesecakes, macaroons & many options. I bet, after looking at these many items here...no one can resist themselves from eating them,even if you are on a diet. . Let us start with the starters, we have got chicken cheesy fries where the cheese was added in a ample amount and it was a perfect starter to start with ..!! Tomato MOZARELLA BASIL sandwich was a little disappointment to me. As the filling of tomato and basil pesto was stuffed between panini & it didn't really gave us the actual flavor of tomato. . Pomodoro pasta is one of the finest items I have tried here. They didn't add cheese in more quantity,just by adding small amount of cheese in it made the dish phenomenal. Also,their sauce needs a special mention here ..as it was completely made out of tomato puree,they didn't add any flour into it. Grilled chicken and onion burger should be a bit juicy and some sauces would have made it better. But, it's good when had with tomato sauce. . As I was totally full by these items & I directly went to try their desserts. They have showcased every dessert item in the counter & everything was presented well. I ordered myself a French toast with Nutella and it was superb. Bread was so soft and the sugar on top of it made the bread even more tasty & having it with Nutella is the best combination. I don't really have to tell you guys how good it is..!! You must know it😜. In the waffles section, we tried two variants. One was waffle topped with bananas and caramel sauce where the waffles were so crispy and a bit crunchy and I really loved them. Second one was waffles topped with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce. I'd recommend them to swap the scoop with a vanilla flavor and top it with chocolate sauce. This will make it taste bomb. They do have coffees,macaroons and more interestingly they have fondant cakes which they prepare it in their own store & they do take up orders on it. .
