Place is located near to my house(Hyderguda). Earlier I had been multiple times to jubilee hills branch which is quite far from my house with my family and I found that place to be very welcoming with good food.
Hyderguda branch is newly opened . could easily discover in Google search,I thought to try it out rather than going to distance branch. I had my birthday and I planned visiting this place and I even know rajthali offers free Thali to person who have birthday and 25% discount to other guests.
Welcoming was good. We were offered a table. I confirmed with the team if they have any offer for birthday before hand. Even if they don't had that offer I would have certainly taken my dinner their by paying their usual rates. They said yes they have said offer and upon ID verification I was allowed free Thali and my spouse was given prescribed discount as well. Which is really good part. They did not deny for it.
Food quality was also good as expected.
What went WRONG was their service.
People serving/people managing them don't even know what they have served or not. Even before eating single chapati/breads they are asking do you need more ,how silly?? Every item we have to ask to get it(which was not the case in other branch we had tried before)..It happened multiple times.. Their was live counter and after asking 4-5 times they gave Pani poori. Lots of items they were not asking to repeat, did not bother to come near us. They were not asking if we wanted to eat kulfi..we have to ask everytime..I was getting a clear feeling from their serving style that they don't want to feed me because it was a free Thali. Their gesture was reflecting it for me. If they had a bad intention, they should never have accepted or should never run such offers to attract customers..
The management should never offer free Thali for birthdays, if you offer you should treat the customer equally who is paying and who is not paying. I literally felt so so bad ,I can never forget this day. I actually spoiled my evening because of this behavior. It would have been great if they had charged me their usual rates of 500/- plus taxes and given a better service experience.....
Read moreI visited Rajthali, Hyderabad, today to celebrate my parents' anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience was just OK. I had higher expectations and thought it would surprise me, but it didn’t quite live up to that—especially in terms of service.
The food was good, and the ambience was nice, which I really appreciate. However, the service was disappointing. There was a lot of rush today, and I understand that can happen, but if you anticipate large crowds, you should be prepared with additional staff. People come here to celebrate special moments, and it’s your responsibility to ensure they’re served well.
I requested someone to help us click a photo, but no one offered assistance. Eventually, I found someone kind enough to take a picture, but it wasn’t staff-initiated, which was disappointing.
Also, we ordered Puri and Dal Baati, but we noticed that a large group was served before us—even though we ordered earlier. I do understand that big orders require time, but a courteous update or response would have been appreciated. A simple “Sir, your order is on the way” would have been enough.
I’ve been here before and didn’t face such issues, so this visit felt different. Overall, it was a mixed experience. I would especially like to see improvements in how customer service is handled—especially when it comes to celebrating personal occasions

They have a special offer on Tuesdays where they offer discounted thalis but there's no unlimited chaat counter on Tuesdays, at least that's what one of the staff members told me. Since there is unlimited chaat counter on other days, it is better to go on other days, however, make sure to use dining apps like Eazydiner to make use of restaurant discount as well as card discount. If you use the right cards, the final price comes down to almost the same as it would be on Tuesdays.
They serve pure-vegetarian Rajasthani and Gujarati dishes. Almost all items are unlimited. Kulfi is limited. However, most of the foods lacked any kick to them. I felt the dishes had very less salt and spices. Dal Bati Churma was new to me. It was a bit bland though. Rotis and pooris were fine. Paneer sabzi was good. Other sabzis were not that great. Malpua was okay but could have been warmer and better. I wanted my parents to try Undhiyu but it was not present on the menu on the day of our visit. Buttermilk could have been better with tempering. Overall, I felt like they should have gone for bolder and more intense flavours.
To conclude, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming to me. Do give it a try but go with lesser...
