Govind Dosas — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Govind dosa is one of the most happening South Indian restaurants in my area! It’s quite reasonable and equally delicious!

You crave to have some good South Indian breakfast dishes or such, you can very well knock their doors! Basically, you can visit them all through the day and help your tastebuds quench the thirst of South Indian Food.

I often used land up her with my colleagues after our early work schedules were through!

They have some great dishes to offer! They serve varieties of Idly recipes to Dosa recipes! Their food is very simple yet flavourful!

One of my favourites is the Tawa Idli! The second you put in a bite of the Idly, it’s melts like butter on a hot pan does and a bombardment of taste and flavour!

The Pizza Dosa they serve is super crunchy and buttery, just the way I would like it! The grated cheese they add is at the top of the taste!

I’m not a very Mysore Bonda fan, but the Bonda I had here was quite good and so was the chutney!

Ambience - It is a really small place. It is in the basement of the building so a little tough to identify the place. There is seating but it is very narrow. Also, since the cooking happens inside without any separation it will feel a little hot inside. The ambience is not great overall.

Food - The food was okayish. Nothing too special. Went with a friend and we had a panneer cheese dosa, pizza dosa, and karam idli. There was too much oil in the dosa.

Price - Decent pricing. Costed 100 each for the dosa and 50 for the idli. But this is a bit high if you look at the quantity offered.

Service - The lesser we talk about it the better it would be. Even though there were hardly any folks when we went, it took forever for the waiter to take an order. We had to go to the cash counter and give our order. Same happened when we wanted to order something after a while. Something which they need to really...

Worst Experience! Staff behaviour was Rude. This place is very unhygienic, surroundings of cooking area are very dusty and not at all cleaned for months and one of the serving staff was chewing gutka. I have ordered butter dosa and onions were very stale and asked cook if the onions are not fresh and he answered to me in rude manner .I have observed foul smell from premises and felt very bad after having breakfast . These people are charging the prices of 3-star hotel and serving bad quality food. No proper bill was provided while paying the bill , the person on counter generated the token and teared it without showing the token to us .I don’t understand what’s the point of token system If a proper token/bill is not provided to customer. There are other good players in market who are providing quality and hygienic food for same price. I would never recommend this...
