I feel the restaurant is over hyped. In Soups we have tried Thai Creamy coconut soup which was not having any Thai flavours but was only coconut milk and coconut oil, Spicy Tom Yum soup which was not that great, Wonton Dumpling soup and Lemon Mint soup were okayish. Can try Wonton Dumpling soup. In appetisers Burmese parcel was good, Stuffed mushroom was not great it was mentioned as tandoor was not, Achari Paneer Tikka and Crispy Lotus stem were okay but not that great, Asian veg Manchuria was not upto the mark, Veg Gilafi Kebab was bland and was not that great. In main Course Masala Kulcha was good than compared to Paneer Kulcha and paneer paratha both had same taste, did not feel any difference between Kulcha and Paratha, felt it was just the name change. Paneer tikka masala was ok, Punjabi Kofta was not that great. In Rice we have tried Paneer tikka biryani was okay, Special Kaju Biryani was also okay, I felt both the biryani the same taste. In desserts we initially asked for Blueberry and Oreo cheesecake and it was not available so we went for Fried Icecream-did not meet the expectations, Sizzling Brownie Icecream which ok ok, Crispy Honey Noodle Icecream we had a different image this in our mind but was totally different when we saw the original dish it was all in vain. It just had a scoop of Vanilla Icecream placed at a side of the plate with Chips kind of thing tossed with honey, I feel the quantity of chips so called noodles did not match the quantity of the Icecream. In Beverages Watermelon Cooler did not have any watermelon taste, it was good if you would not expect any watermelon taste from it, it was more of cherry taste. Jal Jeera mojito was okayish. Overall I could say the taste couldn’t match my expectations, and it may depend on person to person. There are many other pure veg restaurants which offer the same dishes at...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience with both the ambiance and the food. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The decor was tastefully done, adding to the overall charm of the place.
We started our meal with the Thai soup, which was absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant and aromatic, with the perfect balance of spice and freshness. It was the highlight of our meal and set a high standard for the rest of the dishes.
For appetizers, we tried the Crispy Lotus Stem Chips 🤤, which were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. They provided a unique and satisfying crunch that paired beautifully with the soup.
For the main course, we ordered the Paneer Curry, which was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Garlic Naan was soft, fluffy, and had just the right amount of garlic, making it an ideal complement to the curry. We also tried the Butter Naan and Himalayan Naan, both of which were equally delicious. The Himalayan Naan had a unique touch, making it a memorable addition to the meal.
The one drawback was that the preparation time for the dishes took a bit longer than expected, but it was definitely worth the wait. The flavors and quality of the food made the extra time spent anticipating the meal completely worth it.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an enjoyable dining experience with amazing food. The attention to detail in the flavors and the overall presentation of the dishes truly sets this place apart. I will definitely be returning to try more of...
Read moreFollow me on Instagram- tigress_tavy . . . . A new pure veg restraunt at very busiest lane of Madhapur. Gudgudee is a fine Dinning place serving, Indian, asian and tandoori delicacies. The location is prime and thus the parking is not very convenient but they offer vallet parking. The resturant is on the top most floor, promising a beautiful view of the Madhapur road along with a sight of metro passing by. The ambience is quite pleasant along with the friendly and polite staff, who are always at their feet to serve you. Coming to food, started with a couple of soups... Thai coconut cream soup, 5 🌟...this one's a complete personal favourite, highly recommended... The creaminess and the texture of the soup was perfect, with perfect taste and the noodles inside it.. highly recommended!! Vietnamese noodles soup, it was clear soup with vegetables, a try out if you want something light. Spicy Tom yom soup, this was good too, little on a spicy end. Among starters had....Crispy Lotus stem chips,Burmese parcel roll, Palak chole kebab, Veg gilafi kebab and Cracking spinach....and among all these, lotus stem, palak chole kebab were the best. In the main course had Potli biryani, a biryani round up in aata potli, quite fragrant and nice. Braised tofu with clay pot, it was Chinese style tofu. Kashmiri naan,Warique paratha along with Mushroom mutter masala and Paneer saagwala. The main course was good too. Loved the Oreo milkshake here. A good thick blend. Ended with some fried icecream and they really serve a big portion of that... which was very impressive.
Highly recommended 👍🏻...
