Went to Halo for lunch with work colleagues, we were a party of 10. Having read about the challenges in getting reservations, I had confirmed mine a week in advance. Turns out you might as well walk in for a weekday lunch as the place was near deserted.
Finding Halo is easy as it is on the main road. Car parking will be handled by valet and won't be much of a challenge. On entering Halo you'll be pleased with the vibes/interiors but for the premium they charge, it should be a bit more upscale, 4 star for sure.
We found a table upstairs and got settled in. Service was okay, nothing to complain about, so were the washrooms. The food does take some time to arrive, so early ordering is much recommended.
Coming to the food itself (refer to pictures and bill for details), I felt all the dishes were good. You won't be find anything bad. Unfortunately, the quality, quantity don't match upto the price. The pizza felt the most reasonable and justified for its price though it's quantity could have been slightly higher.
Bottom-line is that Halo is well rounded overall on all aspects of being an upscale restaurant. Unfortunately they have pushed themselves in terms of pricing premium (being easily 25% more expensive than they should be) which makes the whole experience come across as generic and not so memorable. If they dropped their prices, they'll offer much better value...

The dining space is spread about in 2 floors , both indoor and outdoor, and done up in earthy tones, with a giant TV screen and Bar on the ground level. The menu was diverse, consisting of some well crafted dishes catering to different tastes. We tried : Bangalore style Chicken kebabs with curry leaves Vinaigrette Childhood red fried Chicken Lollipops A Quatro. Chez Spinach Pizza A classic Kung Pao Chicken and Egg Fried rice. and some Mocktails.
The portion sizes were ok, and food was delectable.. loved whatever we had! 😋😋. The service was a tad bit slow, considering that it was housefull. Overall an experience to savor. Definitely a place worth hanging out with friends for some...
